Hi everyone!

Found out I was pregnant on Sunday to my absolute astonishment! I had an ectopic pregnancy in the summer last year and had my left Fallopian tube removed in August... the clear blue test said 2-3 weeks obviously ovulated a lot sooner than I thought I did... I'm seriously freaking out any little pain or niggle makes me think I'm going through it again... I have an early scan tomorrow.. just seriously need some reassurance... has anybody been through an ectopic pregnancy and had a healthy pregnancy after??

@MoStew18 Usually happens better when ur not perticularly trying, think it's because both are more relaxed and not trying too hard.
I've been taking Seven Seas pre conception tablet each morning that contains Folic Acid and Iron and Vitamin D.
Been taking that since I stopped the pill just before New Year so I'm hoping that will help too 🙂🤞 xx

MoStew18 · 16/01/2020 19:13

@AmumsAli I've heard about that happening... I think it's a lot more enjoyable too I remember when we were trying to conceive my son some months were so tense because it started to become an obsession which ended up making both of us pretty miserable 😩 that's good!! I've read somewhere that it's a good idea to take the folic acid etc before and during trying to conceive so all the good vitamins are already in your system... are you keeping track of your ovulation? Or do you just want to see how it goes for a few months? Xx

Well I havnt had a period yet since I stopped the pill - so I don't know when I'm ovulating @MoStew18 😕 xx

MoStew18 · 16/01/2020 19:21

@AmumsAli did you have a withdrawal bleed? They say it can take about a month for your period to return then 3 months on average for your periods to return to normal.. when I came off the pill I downloaded an app and just logged whenever I came on after a few months you will begin to see a pattern and then you should know where you are but definitely still try for a baby there's no harm in doing that either!! 😉xx

@MoStew18 I havnt had any bleeding, havnt had a withdrawal bleed or anything.
That's what I was expecting but havnt had anything like that 🤷‍♀️🤔 so I'm just waiting for some bleeding and hoping for body to go back to a normal period, but yeah we've just been having a good time just now 😉 xx

MoStew18 · 16/01/2020 19:38

@AmumsAli oh ok.. I'm sure you'll get a period soon absolutely are you cycles usually pretty on time like every 28-35 days before being on the pill? Haha! You go girl!! 😉 bet your other half feels like he's won the jackpot!! I know mine did 😂😂xx

@MoStew18 Haha! Yeah my OH is loving it 😉💖
Yeah I used to have really good regular periods every 26 to 28 days 👍
Hoping I'll go back to that.
Be thinking of you with your next scan 💗 xx

MoStew18 · 16/01/2020 19:48

@AmumsAli I bet he is haha 😉🥰
Yeah you should have no problem going back to that if that's your normal cycle length!
Thank you so much I'll let you know how it all goes 🥰xx

Update

Went and had my second scan today, and everything looks perfect!! Could see the little baby's heart beating away! And baby's measurements look good for my gestation. The lady who scanned me said I'm around 6.5 weeks. So hoping everything goes well from this point on fingers crossed!

So happy and relieved.. sending lots of baby dust for everyone who's trying to conceive!! Xxx

Hi I have had 3 ectopics 1st treated with methotrexate 2nd removal of my right tube 3rd was in the stump of my right tube and I just got a positive test on Sunday, I had a hsg done last month on my left tube which was clear, I had bloods and my hcg is 340 I’m only 4+1/2 to 5 weeks, so anxious 😭

Jaz123456 · 24/09/2021 16:35

I feel like I’m having the same symptoms as before.
