Smoking and TTC

Hi i know this topic if very controversial but i would really like some honest opinions. Did anyone conceive baby#1 whilst being a smoker and how quickly did you conceive and at what age? P.s I'm not a smoker but i used to be. I have been a non smoker now for three months but having no luck with so far.

Both of my friends that smoke have been TTC for over 2 years with no joy. Not sure if there is any correlation as smokers can obviously get pregnant.

Comments like the above bug me. I'm a smoker and always have been. I'm 28 and I'm now pregnant with baby number 2. Only took me 2 cycles ....

I was a mid level smoker, about 10-15 a day but roll ups so smaller than your average cigarette.

Took me three cycles to get a bfp, had a cigarette while the test developed, sww two pink lines and haven't had a cigarette since (going on four years). I was almost 30.

I was a smoker when TTC my first, not heavy mind but about 5-10 a day and we fell pregnant first cycle.

@urbansloth how old were you? When you fell pregnant with your first?

I was 27 when we fell pregnant with our first. Now 29 and trying for number 2 😊

I was a smoker fell pregnant at 17/18 then I had two more children at 23 and 24 yo. It didn't take me long to conceive at all, my second was planned and conceived first cycle , then it took 6months to conceive my third.

Was a smoker at 24 and got pregnant unexpectedly using the pull out method my healthy baby boy was born 9 months later. Haven’t picked a cigarette back up since, My sons 5yr old

I was a smoker and fell pregnant the first month I really put effort into ttc - tracking ovulation, temps, pre seed, vitamins etc. I was 21 and and quit as soon as I saw that BFP on the day I was due AF. I'd been trying but not putting sheer effort in for over a year before that. Smoke free pregnancy.
