TTC help after coil removal

Hi there,

I have never posted on here before and I am totally new to this.

I just wondered if anyone has any experience having their Mariana coil removed. I had it removed a week ago (feels like months, I am so impatient, so this is going to be hard for me!). I haven’t bleed, just very bright pink spotting for one day. And I was expecting to come on AF within the first couple of days.

I wondered if anyone had any experience, how long it took your body to return to normal?

Thank you Smile

Hey @clueless492

I had mine removed end of nov, had a 4 day light bleed that started the day after. Then about 3 weeks later i had a 5 day af that was very light but crazy painful, i ended up in a&e (but i have pcos and they think it was a bad reaction to the removal that caused the pain.) Now i seem to be back to normal, i had a 26 day cycle and af started saturday. Its been med-heavy but not painful like the last one, just normal period pain. Everyone reacts differently i think, but thats my experience.

Hope that helps!
