Am I pregnant?

So, I’ve been feeling odd lately, bloated/full feeling, breasts are tender, on some days they are tender everywhere and others it’s just in the nipple area.
I took one test that showed positive for a little bit, showed my bf, he saw it as well. Then it was gone and came back after it sat much longer than needed to be able to read. Took two others and they say negative. My period is four days late as well. I ovulated somewhere between the 30th of December to the 1st of January. Am I taking them too early? I need advice. I don’t want to go to my mom about it because I want to surprise her.

I’ve also been having light cramping that don’t last long and back aches

Take a test, if there are two lines then yes you are pregnant. I don’t understand how a pregnancy test with a positive result can turn negative. Either the line Is there or It is not

@IShineAShoe happens a lot actually. No need to be so stern in your answer. If HCG is low but manages to be high enough to meet the threshold for the test, it can show and then disappear.

@Mourningair just wait a little bit longer till ur closer to AF and test again :)

@ttc26 thank you for your help. I didn’t know if I was going crazy when I saw the positive go away and it made it worse when the other two I took after that were negative.

Hi, not to soon to take a test. I also ovulated 29th dec to 1st Jan and got my BFP yesterday. Line was faint but clearly visible. Going to test again in morning with clearblue. Xx

@zo186 I took one this morning and it was still negative. But my breasts have been sore for a lot longer than they usually are, it’s not the same kind of pain that comes with a period either.

@Mourningair yes I was the same. I normally have tender breasts for a day or two before my period, but the sore breasts started 1 week before period due (and 1 week after ovulation). 3rd pregnancy and never experienced sore breasts this early so just shows each time it's different. I did a clearblue test Monday morning and was positive 1-2 weeks. Has your period arrived yet @Mourningair? I find the clearblue good as they come up 'pregnant' or 'Not pregnant' and you do them with first morning urine. Sometimes if you test and you've been to toilet recently or drank a lot, urine can be diluted and hcg level not high enough. Try not to go to the toilet a good 3 to 4 hours before testing of not using clearblue xxx
