Bit of background, I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, 6 weeks ago. Have been getting a positive test ever since. Been and got scanned to find out that I had a 1cm blood clot retained in my womb that may or may not be causing the positive tests.
However I started trying right away so the nurse mentioned it could be a very early pregnancy (too soon to show up on a scan) or the blood clot could still be producing the hormones from the previous pregnancy. But she thought it was also unlikely I would be able to get pregnant with the blood clot present.
I'm getting another scan on Friday so see if the clot has been reabsorbed (definitely haven't bled it out as I haven't had AF since the misscarriage)
I did one of those clear blue pregnancy tests a week a part and it went from 2-3 weeks to 1-2 weeks so in essence was dropping but, I know how unreliable they can be. I keep getting on and off bouts of nausea, off my food, EXTREMELY tired, itchy nipples and a snot (sorry tmi) like discharge. But the first pregnancy I had the most painful boobs ever and morning sickness constantly...would it be the same if I was pregnant now?
Can a blood clot even produce hormones to make me still feel pregnant...or could I be pregnant again?
Really at my wit's end as I'm desperate to be pregnant again ðŸ˜
