Is this a line or indent? Freedom test

Hey guys,

Going made. Took a few tests at end of December with what looked like faint positives (on Sainsbury’s own and a FRER), and then I retested on Wednesday and got this. Is it a positive or an indent?! As it was taken well over a week to the other tests I’m dubious. Opinions appreciated! Thanks x

Can see a line and it looks coloured so I’d say positive. Have you taken any since or used a FRER? When was your af due?

Snowfoxx · 11/01/2020 19:02

Haven’t taken one since, I feel like I’ve spent a fortune in tests and keep getting unsure results. Af was die in the 2nd, but on the 26th of Dec (8dpo) I started bleeding for about 4 days, so I have no idea what the hell is going on! No idea if it’s a chemical or whether that was implantation bleeding. I chalked it off to being a chemical but this last test has made me all unsure again!

Due in the 2nd*

Could have been implantation bleeding or an early period, so that’s frustrating. I’ve seen others on here not get a clear bfp until a week after af was due. Perhaps ask your gp for bloods if they would?

Thank you, that helps a lot because I’m just going crazy in my own head! I’ll call gp Monday and see what they say. Thanks!

No bother at, hope you get answers and that bfp ❤️

So I cracked and did another cheapy test, purely because I was so sure it would be negative and didn’t want to be depressed by an expensive test giving me a blank. I will make an appointment with docs tomorrow, but if this looks more like an evap line I might not bother. Ugghhhhhh!! Thoughts?!

The line is very obvious on the first test. I think a trip to the GP us a good idea. Particularly because of the bleeding you've had mid-cycle. Could've been implantation bleeding but that is unusual and from what I understand unlikely to last 4 days.

Snowfoxx · 12/01/2020 13:39

Thanks 😊 I’m thinking it must have been an early af too, and not implantation bleeding. Need to get over it!

My experience of freedom tests has been awful, 9/10 times they show a weird faint line. I really wish they would be taken off the market. In both my pregnancies the only test that hasn't let me down is a frer. I would wait a couple of days and pic one up. Good luck ☺️
