I got my static smiley after one day of flashing smiley on the clear blue digital 2 days ago meaning I was going to ovulate in the next 48 hours (today).

I wasn't getting peaks on my ICs at that time but got a strong peak on my IC this morning and EWCM yesterday. Does this mean I'm likely to ovulate today or tomorrow instead?

I thought the Clearblue were much more accurate but I'm not sure why I'm getting a peak on the IC now.

Either way we've DTD almost everyday for the past 5 days but I'd like to know when I'm ovulating so I can count my dpo.

I know nobody on the internet can actually tell me but was wondering if any of you had similar experiences?

Thank you

I found cheapies more reliable. I ovulate usually the day of or the day after a positive opk. I've fallen pregnant twice using just the cheapies.

@Chanel05 thank you. I'll probably DTD today and count tomorrow as 1dpo ovulation then.

I got pregnant in October using just the cheapies but thought the CB might be a bit more accurate as I was going mad comparing the darkness of the lines on the IC!

ICs are the best. The machines are basically just reading an IC for you. You don't need to compare the progressive darkness of the lines: your hormones don't work that way. It will be a sudden 48hr spike, not a gradual increase over a few days.

I tend to get two days of positives and count DPO from the second day. I try to dtd both morning and evening on postive days. I have got pregnant every time I have used this method (4 times in total).

Hi everyone!
I’m new to this, my husband and I are TTC baby #1 and wow the 2WW is horrible.... longest time ever!

Wondering if any of you ladies could give me some advice. I have been using the CB advanced ovulation test every morning I started testing on cycle day 11 which was 5 days after my period I got negative every day and then randomly on cycle day 14 I got a peak fertility but no lead up with the high fertility Confused then cycle day 20 and 21 which is today I got high fertility which I was a bit confused with as I already got my peak fertility. This morning when I tested I also used a cheapy and a CB pink ovulation test the one with 2 fertile days both of those were negative. I haven’t really had any CM. Is it possible I didn’t ovulate? Or maybe did ovulate and it’s picking up on hormones? Early pregnancy? Fingers crossed that would be amazing. I’m going out of my mind wondering what is happening.

If anyone has had something similar would love your advice! Thank you! Sending you all lots of luck and baby dust on your TTC journeys

I'm kinda the same. See pics. Today I now have to see my OBGYN since I'm on CD31( my normal is 28-29 days) and no BFN.

@Swife oh so weird! And how frustrating is it huh!! I did watch this video that said sometimes your body is trying to produce the amount of LH to ovulate and quite often it doesn’t happen but can affect the test as they need only a small amount and most of the time is you are tired and need to catch up on sleep. The woman has a whole page on YouTube that is so interesting! Her YouTube name is fertility homeopath and although I don’t take the homeopath route she is quite knowledgable and explains stuff so well!
Best of luck to you!

@Jessiebells OMG! Very frustrating since 1. It's my first time using OPKS 2. It's caused my cycle to run longer 3. After have months of normal cycles, I'm now more confused then ever. I did fine out that we can ovulate a few days apart if the first one doesn't take, but mine was clearly longer than a few days! I sure will go to her YouTube page. For now I'm getting ready to see OBGYN today so we can try to pinpoint the issue. Thanks for the luck and right back at you😘. I'll stay updating
