Low rising hcg

Hi ladies!

I got my BFP (big fat positive) (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) on 12/25 but also started bleeding that same day. I bled from 12/25-12/28. Doctor is unsure what it was. I asked to be put on progesterone supplements and they obliged. Here are my levels:

12/26- 11 progesterone 1.7
12/28- 24 progesterone 2.4
1/6-47 progesterone 14.6
1/8-68

I got a positive LH strip on Dec 12 and had sex the latest on December 14. It is possible I ovulated later as ovulation week was super stressful at work.

I know it doesn’t look so great, especially since I had bleeding and my numbers aren’t doubling with 48 hours but was looking to see if anyone had any experience with their low rising hcg and pregnancy? I had a previous miscarriage in October and am mentally preparing myself for another one but my god, I can’t believe I might have to go through one again

Sorry you are going through this, I'm slightly confused though. You are giving you progesterone results rather than you hcg results? Or are the first numbers you hcg? Maybe the progesterone has helped to sustain what is ultimately going to be a non viable pregnancy? Or have they checked for an ectopic?

First are my hcg

I asked if progesterone would do that they said no... then again my doctor hasn’t been the best of doctors

My GP has been fucking awful. He signed off my bloods as normal. When I got a print out they were far from normal. I went back and questioned him and he said that he doesn't really understand them and he'd ask someone else!! Eventually he referred me to a gynaecologist as he literally has no idea.

I would push for a referral to EPU. At the least you need a scan.

Omg that’s horrible. I can’t get a scan yet as my hcg is so low. I am seeing a second doctor next week.
