I am a long time cystitis sufferer. I had it pretty much constantly for six months in my early twenties and since then (I'm 30 now) I get it maybe every 4-6 months. We've just started TTC and already this month I've had the symptoms twice. The first time I just immediately zapped it with antibiotics (I always have some on standby) and carried on DTD regardless but it's come back this morning.
I am waiting only 5 minutes after DTD to pee, am drinking gallons and have the antibiotics ready to go if it gets worse so I can deal but it's just very depressing thinking that what could be months and months (or possibly years) of TTC could be blighted by constant cystitis. I'm always scared when it comes back that I'm going to go back to having it all the time which was truly awful.
Not really a question just wanted to vent and see if anyone else was going through something similar.
