I positive last cycle, next day negative , then period, now missed period?!

Hi just wondering of anyone else has had anything as weird as this. Last month I got a bold positive at 8dpo, tested the next day and it was completely blank not even a faint squinter... then I came on my period 5 days early which is so odd for me. so I didnt test again as I assumed period meant no baby. But now Im a day late on my periodthis month and theres no possibility im pregnant from this cycle so it mustbe from last month if I am. Is this mental to assume maybe im 8 wks pregnant? Im too scared to test! I feel weird like im making it up. something not right to be positive sooo dark then completely blank, 5 days early then late! Has anyone had anything similiar? was there a baby or no baby?

@justmumming1 only way to know is to test or wait for AF. It seems unlikely if your last period seemed normal, I'd wait a few days as one day late doesn't seem much if you don't think there's any possibility you're pregnant from this cycle. I wouldn't get your hopes up but it should be easy to tell as if you are pregnant from last time a test should be really clear at 8 weeks
