Friends needed first time TTC

Hi everybody looking for friends to fo through the ttc journey with a little info about me

Im 30 dp is 32
He has 1 dd age 13 going on 25
Came off cerelle 1/08/19 and got my first period on 29/8/19 and been trying since.
I have been using OPKS to test for ovulation but have struggled to get a possitive.....until sunday when i tested at peak, iv been using clue app and its been abit confusing at it said i ovulated on friday but with the positive opk on sunday i assume its wrong, have since downloaded ovia and its fab. I should be due AF around about the 13th and think i am 2DPO, today i am having alot of sharp sudden pains on my right side, as this is my first time trying to get pregnant i am unsure on what symptoms to look for and everybody keeps telling me "i will just know", sorry for the long post 💞

Hello! I’m TTC #1 too. I’m 30 too and DP is 26. Came off Microgynon in May and TTC since. I use Ovia and Flo.. I find ovia more in depth though. More options to choose from. I haven’t tried OPKs yet but would like to next cycle. I’m currently CD47. No AF and countless BFN. Never had a cycle this long and going crazy. You usually get a cramping pain on alternating sides each month. Typically you release an egg from right ovary one month and would feel slight cramping around ovulation and the next month from the left side and so on so most likely ovulation pains. Hi! This is my first time TTC too. I’m 28, my DH is 25. I got my IUD removed in late November so this month has been my first proper cycle.
I’m feeling very lost with symptoms and tracking too. I’ve used the Flo app for a year now, but I unsure as to how accurate it is as my cycles have been all over the place due to the IUD and coming off it. My DH also works away so we’ve only managed to DTD twice before he left for work again, and both times were before my ovulation date so I’m not entirely sure what chance I’ve got this month to conceive.

I'm 32 and DH is 31. Currently in the TWW, about 9DPO and had 2 BFNs so far (although may be too early so still a glimmer of hope). This is our 2nd month of TTC but first using OPKs.

Finding these boards useful as have gained a lot of knowledge! But also can see myself starting to get obsessed already 😂

Look forward to continuing the journey with you all!

Hopefully we all get our BFPs this year, i find it so draining sometimes and get consumed with reading up every tiny detail

@Michelle2517 Tell me about it - every twinge I'm googling! 😂 Trouble is, most are similar to AF symptoms so raises hopes to then get dashed ...

I'm joining as well! Am about 7dpo, and am symptom spotting like crazy... But did feel a very sharp stabbing pain on my left side today, which only lasted for a few seconds... Anyone else had this? :)

Iv had a few sharp sudden pains on my left side but just putting it down to ovulation. They really dont prepare you for how long it can take to fall pregnant, i just assumed you DTD and wham thats it lol and now im 31 in may i feel like i shouldnt have waited so long

@Michelle2517 I'm 32 so feeling similar although this is only second month. Have a friend who came off pill and didn't even have a period and got pregnant - she's 5 months now and was hoping to join her a couple of months ago!

I got myself that wound up about my age i went to the drs just for reassurance that i would get pregnant and all she did was giggle and say give it a year. My friend got married in july so wanted to wait till the wedding was out the way before TTC as i was bridesmaid, i know everybody is different and we really shouldnt compare but i think since iv started i notice more how long its taking me because everyday i am on that damn internet. Im only 5 months trying so think i just need to relax and enjoy the time with DP and it might just happen, FX that we caught it this month tho 🥰

DH and I are both 30. I came off Yasmin late October but this is the first month we are trying!

BFN again this morn but randomly have a nosebleed now - cue more Googling to see if it's a symptom! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Em4815 sorry to hear that!! How many dpo are you? Maybe nosebleed is a symptom hah!!

Hi guys I'd like to join - 24 and DP is 25, ttc our first, early miscarriage in June, been using clear blue ovulation tests this month yet to get a high let alone a peak - hopefully some positives on this thread

Hi! I’ve been TTC since October 2019.
I’m 27 and DH is 29. I’ve been using OPKs and my ovulation date and AF have been different each month so far.
Currently around 7/8 DPO, I had noticeable cramping the past 2 days but I’m a serial symptom spotter so trying not to get ahead of myself. I’m trying to hold off testing until Sunday if I can.
Don’t know how people do this month/years on end, it’s driving me insane!!

Im on cd28 and only got a peak ovulation on cd24 my periods have been anywhere from 28-38 days so from the late ovulation i will assume i will be having a longer cycle this month, i have a horrendous urine infection atm and the only symptom i have noticed is sore nipples and the fact i was constantly peeing, so when im due my period is a mystery this month which makes it harder to test. I have ovia downloaded and its very in depth and it says to test for pregnancy in 11 days if i can last that long

I'm also trying to conceive for the first time. This is my first cycle trying. Based on opk's I ovulated on 5 January so am in the two week wait now and wow is it frustrating not being able to know what's going on!

Oh dear, just started to catch up with Call the Midwife = 😍 and 😭 at the same time!

Morning ladies! Well im taking a test 8 days earlier than planned. Woke up with excruciating stomach pain and sickness phoned the drs as i was put on anti bs yesterday for a uti (had them before so cant be the tablets) and she advised i take a test just to be sure. I then fell back asleep until now which isnt like me at all im a "once im up, im up" type of person. Fx i get a BFP although i am not holding my breath as im only about 5DPO at most x
