Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia!

@hatepickinganame have only read a couple, The Last Wish is really enjoyable, quite clever. The Blood of Eleves was more tedious and scene setting, I should probably have given the books after a try to see if they picked up a bit.

I'm still not massively sure about my cycle. I had flo Jan, currently on CD 29... period according to Ovia was due today... so just waiting to see what happens. Not sure when I ovulated as I didn't pick my opk tests until a week or so after my flo ended.. but we were DTD.

Just waiting for flo, not sure if it's worth me testing or when I should even test tbh 🙈🙈

Hi @Elmlee sorry if you've already posted this and I've just missed it. Do you know how many days your cycle lasts? I only ask because it took me a few months to discover I have a 30/31 day cycle despite it always being 28days when I was on the mini pill! I got excited my first couple of cycles when AF didn't appear on day 28 but turned out my cycles now last a little longer since stopping contraception.

@Hatepickinganame maybe for you it might be! Disappointed it wasn't for me. Definitely doesn't normally happen though. Screw you AF! 😂

@HighlandMam1 never really had a cycle on mini pill to my knowledge as I never had a period.
This whole experience is a learning curve for me!

I stopped my pill end of November, had a withdrawal, then had no flo at all in December... had a flo beginning of jan.

According to Ovia I was due in my period today... but I know it most likely won't be accurate 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Elmlee my periods settled straight away really after the mini pill. But I was the same! No idea what would happen. Three apps kind of predict only by past cycle pattern or knowing for sure if you ovulated. Luteal phases are usually fairly consistent. So if you OPK and know when you ovulated, you can work out when your period will come roughly. Mine always comes day 15 after ovulating. My cycles differ but that's because you ovulate not always the same day.

Hello ladies! Glad I’m not alone in symptom spotting today (despite telling myself that I was going to be relaxed about it...)

Have had some gentle cramps earlier today and my boobs feel swollen (unusual for AF symptom for me, but you all know how our bodies trick us...) but trying not to read too much into it. Still a week to go until AF is due so hoping a busy week this week will take my mind off it!

@Supper16 i may have to find them then, i do love a good book 😊 although i couldn't get into the GoT books even though i loved the TV series!

@Elmlee i rely on the app at the moment too, although its only my second full cycle since having the coil out so ive no idea how accurate it is. My last cycle was 26 days so just going with that for now. I had two at one point, flo and ovia contradicted as to when i would ovulate though so deleted ovia 😂

I've had the pains on my right side too. Been feeling for days like I've been doing sit ups - I don't even know how to do a sit up!

Apparently 10dpo and just had my first pink tinged CM ever in my life. I just know this will be the arrival of AF. Just get it over with already!

I caved in and tested and it was a BFN... half expected it tbh.

Part of me is being really laid back but part of me in some ways feel that I'll never see a BFP... let's hope I do at one point 😔

I think I just need to wait for my flo to arrive, once she's here I will hopefully have an idea of my cycle length and get some more accurate app results.

Said I was due today hence why I tested... who knows hey!

Just jumping on the tv and books convo - GOT is the only thing I'm glad I watched before I read the books. Purely on linking people and families and faces to it. Absolute minefield 😆 but the books are always better!
OH plays Witcher, I'll stick with Mario Kart.

Oh... and... I've just realised I've not compared all my symptoms and ailments with the TWW site for a while.

Morning everyone, I’m due tomorrow according to clue which means I ov’d later than I thought and probably missed our window when dtd 🤪 confusing!

Anyway, I’ll probably get some spotting today if she’s coming. Boobs feel swollen and sore, I’m bloated and continue to have right side pelvic pain. Not very helpful symptoms! 😂

Tested today with a frer and as I suspected BFN. I've had some lower pelvic cramps and to be honest a really crap month for health so really not surprised!!

Game over for me! I decided to test today, just to see, so I peed in my pot - wiped - gave up. On the positive, I saved a test and next test is advised 26th Feb so I'm still firmly on the bus lol

@Wise0wl agreed! I feel like TTC could take years even so I can't sort of stop living my life completely. A glass of wine here and there can't be the end of the world right? Especially when some people conceive after a big night out.

My BBT dipped further 😒 so it looks like my body tried to ovulate but wasn't quite successful (stupid PCOS), hope it tries again soon!
In a panic I ordered Coq10 after reading about it. D'oh!

Hi everyone - sorry for those who've had af show up and 🤞🏻 for those testing in the next day or so.

@Hatepickinganame I know I'm late replying to this but I experience ovulation pain every month and for me it is alot more like af cramps than a sharp pain. I do sometimes find that the pain radiates to one side more than the other but usually it's just like intense af cramps for a few hours then it passes. Tbh for me ovulation is usually really quite painful and much more so than my af cramps. But I thought I'd share my experience 😊

@MrsTwentySeven I think focusing on health is a really good idea - filling up on all the good stuff to help our bodies. I had planned to do this well before TTC but it's been a struggle however I've decided to focus on small, sustainable changes instead of some big grand plan. Are you going to follow any type of plan?
Would be interesting to see what people are doing food wise?

Also a little update from me...

I'm currently cd29 and my predicted ovulation was Sat/Sunday (cd27 or cd28)... I did opk tests and was losing hope however I got a strong peak on Saturday so it was just delayed ovulation post chemical. I then had some crampy ovulation pain Saturday evening (cd27) . My app predicted ovulation on Sunday (cd28).
We only managed to DTD twice in the fertile window simply due to busy schedules and DH noy feeling well but hopefully we've timed it OK. I'm counting today as 1dpo.

Last cycle I had a faint positive 13dpo before my chemical so thought I'd try to test at 13dpo this time soo which will be Saturday 15th February.

I would wait until af was late but im going away with my sister for a few days on that day so I won't be able to test again until I'm back on Thursday 20th which would be 18dpo and I can't wait that long... But if af hasn't arrived by then I will be testing again...

Sorry for the long post. Its just cathartic to get my plan/ thinking out of my head ahaha

Im cd 8. Will be start doing ovulation tests tommorrow. My cycle keeps changing. Tbh im not as stressed and worked up as previous months about conceiving (prob change in a few days😂 ). Hope everyone is well Xx
