I know everyone is very different, but I was just wondering for those of you who have more than one child, how long did it take you to conceive both? Was the much difference in the TTC time for no 1 & for no 2?

Hi @rj995 ☺️

First daughter was a total surprise. We weren’t trying at all. Cycle 4 trying TTC number 2. I think in my head I just assumed it would happen straight away like it did with our first! Hoping this month is our month

@OliviaParker18 thank you for replying! it's difficult isn't it, hopefully we will both be quick with our 2nd too, a great start to 2020!

I’m currently ttc number 2 as well. We were very lucky with our first because we fell pregnant in our first month of trying. I’m expecting it to take longer second time round and interested to hear other people’s experiences.

First time trying with our daughter. Didn't know how lucky we were! Now on cycle 6 now for our second...think I was guilty of assuming it would be just as easy. I know 6 months doesn't sound long but it feels like AGES when you don't know when it actually will happen.

@Josie465 that was very lucky you caught first time round with your first! have you just started TTC for no2 or have you been trying a little while?

@Lnix that was great you caught first time too, I know what you mean about it feeling like a while when you don't know what's ahead, it took us 4 months with our DS and into month 3 of TTC no2 so I'm praying it will be a similar timeline but you just never know... hope you are feeling okay about being on month 6, it's good to have threads to chat!

@rj995 thanks, month 6 was a bit of a difficult one just because felt a bit landmarkish! But am trying to remember that people try for a lot longer and I'm 34 now so probably natural that it will take a little longer than my first (she is 4 years old already). Hope your timing works out as you hoped with your second!

@rj995 yes, we’re on our first month of trying atm. I’m waiting for af to show this weekend. Pretty sure I can feel it coming 🙁
