BBT rise same day solid smiley?!

Hey all
So as the title says I'm a bit confused really! I had flashing smileys on c13 and cd14 (sat and sun just passed) then on Monday I got a solid smiley and a bbt rise!! The rise has lasted too so my FF app is telling me I ovulated on cd15 (Monday as my temp rise was Tuesday)

Why did I get a solid smiley on the day of temperature rise? Does anyone know? Also, we dtd late evening on the Friday (I was getting ewcm) which would have been cd12... Then we dtd Tuesday at 4am. The 4am must have missed the window? Not feeling great for this cycle tbh but would appreciate some insight if anyone knows about peak opk and bbt rise same day

Sorry, I meant my solid smiley on ovulation test was on Tuesday along with bbt rise (not Monday) and we dtd Monday going into Tuesday 4am

You can ovulate pretty soon after your LH surge, so have the surge and ovulate on the same day.

In all liklihood, as sperm can live for over 5 days and the egg can be fertilised up to 12 hours post ovulation, either time you dtd could have successfully fertilised it

I use the clear blue tests and I think we've got to remember we might do a test and it's flashing but then it's possible an hour later our surge starts and it would be a solid however if we don't test until the next day we think we only got the sold face the day after if this makes sense. Therefore I think you can ovulate prettty quickly after you get a sold face with this possibility. Unless we are going to take ovulation tests every hour then we have to accept that when we see a positive test our surge may have already started hours before sounds like you forms it ok to me though xx
