Clear blue ovulation tests? Are they accurate?

Hi,

Does anyone know if clear blue ovulation tests are accurate.

I'm starting to stress out that I have not fallen pregnant after trying for so long 🙁?

Should I maybe give some other ovulation tests ago?

I have the exact same question OP so just hopping on here and hoping for some advice! X

Hi both!
@danielasummer @chlo04

I don't have a concrete answer for you, but I used the ClearBlue ovulation test this cycle together with a cheap colour test from Amazon (Ovaview) and the day I got my smiley face with the ClearBlue was the same day I got a dark line that matched the control with the cheap colour OPK. I also used them for our first cycle of trying (we concentrated our efforts around those days as my husband was going away afterwards) and I got pregnant that first cycle (sadly later miscarried).

In short, I my experience is they do work, but you have to use them as the instructions say (i.e. only use one test holder for that particular cycle, but buy more sticks if you need to, as it works by detecting a pattern based on several days' use, unlike the colour dye cheap ones).

Hope that makes sense Smile

I used the CB digi ones. Got pregnant twice using them - found them extremely accurate.

What I will say is, use the same holder for a few months and just get a new pack for the sticks only. It gets to know your hormone levels. Test when you are meant to. You can test twice a day once you have 'high' readings (sometimes it would be flashing smiley in the morning and go to static in the evening)

Good luck!

@sunshinefordays @kimadey thank you so much for your advice - will be purchasing these for next cycle if AF doesn't come! x

@sunshinefordays @kimadey *if AF does come it should say!

Hi everyone
hoping I can get some advice on the clearblue advanced ovulation test. How long did you “high fertility” the flashing smiley face last? Just curious as to when it will turn static.
Thanks ladies
