Hi all,
I'm brand new to this! I've been ttc for around 4 months now and am on my first pack of the CB ovulation tests. Started them last Saturday and had a negative, then everyday since including today I have a flashing smiley. Still no peak (non flashing smiley) and am on day 6 of high fertility (flashing). I'm worried I'm not ovulating. This is day CD 16. Anybody had the same experience as me?

It's possible that you ovulate later than you thought or have missed the surge. I ovulate between cd 17-25 so I gave up on the cb as they're so expensive!

(Changed my username but I am the above poster) It could be possible, I've just been going by the ovulation calculators online which say I should have ovulated on New Year's Day but I know these can be inaccurate. I will keep testing for the next few days and see. Thank you for your reply.

If you know how long your previous couple of cycles are this might give you an indication of when you ovulate. The average person has a 14 day lp after ovulation.

Hi ladies sorry about the random message; just wondered... on the 29th and 30th of December I got a dark opk but didnt class it as positive because it had to be the same but since then I've had very faint ones so surely i must of ovulated right? Should I be counting my 2ww from then cause we dtd a lot round then. Pictures below first picture is my possible positive?

I'm very new to opks so I'm not sure how to read the ones you have unfortunately. The one I have is digital so comes up with a smiley and I don't look at the lines as it says on this particular not to. Sorry I can't be of hell. Good luck! Xx

You can have multiple surges in a cycle or you may have missed the window. It doesn't look quite positive to me.

Keep going with them, your probably very close to your surge. The little stick that reads the tests has to adjust to your levels so o know on my first cycle using them I had up to 5 flashy faces I think but now on cycle 3 it knows my levels better so I get a blank circle then about 2 flashing days and then my static as it knows my normal baseline levels better now. I bet you get to ur surge in the next couple of days

I think I'm just gonna dtd as often as we can and hope got the best!!

I used cb tests for 3 cycles spent a lot of money had as many as 12 High days and unfortunately never saw a peak day at all .. always ended up getting my AF

Currently using the cheap OPK tests and awaiting a appointment at the doctors as I fear I may not be ovulating as my cycles are a little irregular since stopping the pill 'yasmin' in March 2019 😞
