Experience of one step?

Hey I was wondering if anyone could offer any thoughts on one step... I got a positive result this morning and I was hoping to find out if anyone thought this was a true positive? Should the line be darker? My app says in 14 dpo, two days ago I was getting sharp pinching in one side? X

Could you get a first response? I'd try get one you should get a clearer line :) good luck

Ime that's not a bad One Step line for 14dpo, and I've used lots of them! The cheapies are sensitive I think but the lines take a while to darken. A FRER probably will be darker now, I'd try one tomorrow.

@limplettice thank you for this, I thought it should be really dark by now :( I did one half an hour later but couldn't see a line then.. could that be as there was no hold? Have you used one step? Sorry for all questions ha xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 with dd I used one step but didn't test till I was 5 weeks and the line was really dark, I'm sure on one step there not as sensitive, maybe you ovulated/implanted later? Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

One step lines are much lighter than First Response. When I've had a line like that on a one step I'd get a dark line on a first response and a pregnant result on a digital.

@mrscl19 I'm not actually sure as most of my opks have been dark even this morning! This is today's opk! But my app says 14 days ago was my darkest

@letsgetreadytorumbleagain thank you, I'm going to test again tomorrow and I'd get another line I will use my FRER on Sunday.... whatS confusing me is when I did one half an hour later I couldn't see anything.... x

I can see the line without opening the picture. I had the same reservations regarding the one step tests but after getting the first they rapidly became darker

This was mine at approximately 13dpo.

Would you say in your opinion mines positive? There was no line on the second about half an hour later though :( I couldn't resist testing again x

No worries @AnxiousAnnie86. Found it reassuring when someone replied to me with a picture. That test was taken on the 23rd December, early xmas present for us and we still have our fingers crossed.
I had the same, immediately did another and it was barely even there. But this was my OneStep this morning, so 11 days later. Please ignore the paint pot.

Op I've used one step and most of the cheapies a lot. 2 kids but currently on 6th pregnancy. Most of the cheap ones are the same, but I went through a pack of about 60 One Astro's over 3 losses and a successful pregnancy last year, and they do start faint. For reference, the lightest one here was 16 days after dtd (no idea of ovulation, we weren't trying) and the rest over about 8 days.
No point keep doing them until you've held though, half hour later won't give you an accurate result.

No, no symptoms and still dont have any. Thought I was out the evening before as had some heavy red spotting. So just did one as I was bored with packing for going away for the holidays. Still anxious about it as we had two MC last year

@fluffybunny86 oh that's reassuring as I don't think i feel anything?! Had some quite bad pinching on right side on New Year's Day... could of been implantation maybe! I think your line progression is good so that's a great sign! I had a miscarriage in October so I know what you are going through and I'm so sorry for your losses! I have heard symptoms don't generally start till 6 weeks so maybe you'll be getting them very soon! Or you'll be one of the lucky ones... xxx

These are my one step pregnancy tests... they are still so light and it's making me worry...
First two monday (12dpo I think, irregular cycles)
3rd and 4th tuesday.
5th wednesday
6th yesterday
7th today...

They are getting darker but not very much and worried I'm going to lose the baby.

And my FRERS..
Top is monday
Bottom is today.

@essjaycee I honestly wouldn't worry at all about those! The lines are most definitely getting darker! Plus you aren't certain on your dpo you could be less then you think.... the FRERs are dark lines... when I had my miscarriage the lines got noticeably lighter and fast xx

I have been trying not to panic too much but with the tests still light and no symptoms it's just worried me!

@essjaycee honestly they will get dark, it looks like it's still really early I'd guess you are probably only 12 dpo now! I bet you this time next week you'll be begging for no symptoms! Congratulations! Xxx

@AnxiousAnnie86 I have tracked BBT and that suggests I am 16dpo at the moment.. so I feel like it should should be darker that's all.
If that's right I should be 4weeks+2

@EssJayyCee maybe try at a digital with weeks? Put your mind at rest? Seeing it in words can help . Then stop 🤣

I need to stop but since I found out I've become an addict!

I took another internet cheapie at 1.30 and it is so much darker so my mind has rested a little now! 😁

@essjaycee I'm the same :( I just can't take this mornings as a positive I feel like it's false :( I did one half an hour later- half an hour!!!! And it was negative but I'm hoping it was as there was no hold :( x

@AnxiousAnnie86 My first one was as light as that.
Try and do another one tonight after at least a 4 hour hold or in the morning and see.

Half an hour isn't enough time so the second one isn't reliable.

The line on the one this morning was pink which is always a good sign! I'd take it as positive! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
