Hi, has anyone tried this? My partner and I, due to health reasons, are thinking about trying it this month and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips / has had success this way? Thank you in advance.

No success yet, but gearing up for cycle three using insemination. My number one tip would be using a mooncup. So much less messy than when I tried without.

I also use pressed. Since I'm very uncomfortable playing about down there I tend to put the mooncup in when I have plenty of time to stretch things out, then remove it just before insemination.

Using syringes I insert some pree-seed lubricant deep inside, then put some but not all the sample in the same way. The rest of the sample goes in the cleaned mooncup. Plenty of pre-seed around the rim of the mooncup. Insert that. Then spend a bit of time attempting a semi handstand just to ensure it doesn't just pool in the cup.

I try to inseminate in the evening so I can lie still shortly after and sleep. Lying still afterwards is supposed to help.

Hope some of that helps. Try things out and take and leave the bits that don't suit you.

I've had success with this. Now 16 weeks pregnant. My other half has some issues which lead us to trying it, it took us 6 cycles of trying. My tips would be relax, get a pot and a size of syringe you're comfortable with. I put a little bit of pre seed in the pot and kept the pot warm for ten mins before usually in my hand or down my top. Legs in the air! Dont move for at least 20 mins but the longer the better. Have an orgasm once you've inseminated, just dont move off your back lol its supposed to help and if it doesnt then at least you've had some fun too. Good luck! I found it really hard at first but it worked!

Thank you both for your replies. I'm excited to try it all out but feeling nervous about getting it right!

@mrsc1987 where did you get your syringes from? I've been looking on Amazon but not sure if there suitable?

@greeneyes703 we got them off amazon! Used the 5ml ones that are for giving medicine they have a purple plunge bit if you search for medicine syringe you'll see the ones i mean. Also forgot to add to my previous reply that once the sperm is in the pot leave it at least 10 minutes to liquify a little before sucking it up in the syringe, but keep it warm.. makes it much easier to deal with.
