Day 21 blood test

Hello everyone, I have been ttc for 9 months but no luck so far. Today I went for a day 21 blood test to check if I'm ovulating. Has anyone else had this blood test done? Please share your experiences or any other information you have as I'm not quite sure what to expect once I get the results. Thank you.

A result above 30 confirms you ovulated roughly a week before the test. That's it.

A very low result (less than 15) suggests maybe you haven't (yet) ovulated.

A result between 15 and 30 probably suggests you've had the test on the wrong day. It's considered a 'borderline' result.

Hi. I had this done a couple of months ago. My result was 42 and I was fed a day out of possibly two. GP stated result was 'normal.' Test did highlight that my thyroid was above range and I've been taking levothyroxine since November.

I got 48. Gp said that was normal and no further action required...

Did you have tests done at the beginning of your cycle too?

No answers but I'm in the same boat. Cycle 8 and having a day 21 blood test next Friday. Though will actually be day 19 as 21 is a Sunday 🙄 typical. Peak OPK this morning so due to ovulate tomorrow (if I am ovulating!). I asked about having a day 1 test too and he said it was pointless as it doesn't show anything? Who knows!
He's also testing my thyroid and other things at the same time so maybe yours did too.

I have only had Day 21s and DH SA.

My gp tested for so many other things too! Rubella, Prolactin and many more!
