TTC after D&C

Hi everyone,
We conceived first try back in June 2019 straight after I had copper iud removed. I had spotting in August, scan confirmed I miscarried. Had a failed natural management, failed medical management and then finally when we got to October I plumped for D&C. Got my first period back in November and had a December one too.

My questions are these:

  1. Why am I suddenly getting cramps after I’ve ovulated right up until period? Is it something to do with things still healing? Or could there be something wrong since operation?
  2. Should I have had a follow up appointment or scan after d&c as I’ve been offered nothing.
  3. My periods have changed, BBT now way more erratic and predicting ovulation as about day 8-10 when before it was 13-15. Could my bbt be wrong?
  4. Should I start using OPK? I’ve tried one step but they are so confusing and always negative. Are clear blue better?
  5. I’m mainly vegan, should I be trying to drink milk to increase fertility?

Wow reading that back I sound totally insane but I just have so many questions and want to make sure I’m doing the best I can.

Thank you,
Peace & Love in advance 🙏🏼

First of all, sorry to hear of you mc.

I had an erpc in May and I was not offered any follow up scan, providing I got a negative test, which I did after 3 weeks. As you've had two AF since then you won't need a scan.

I used to use clear blue but found them so expensive. I got pregnant using one step and have used them ever since, just can't justify the money! You need to do them multiple times per day in fertile week.

BBT unlikely to be wrong if you are taking it to two decimal places and at the same time each day. My cycles are effed up since my surgery. They range from 30-35 days and it changes each time.

Not sure about the milk, sorry.

Thank you, and sorry for your loss too. Yes negative test was all they said to me too.

Could you give me any tips on how you used one step? Like what times of day, how long after having a drink etc. I’m a big water and herbal tea drinker during the day so I’m confused about fitting it in Confused

Thank you so much for your reply and help Smile

Sorry for your loss. I had a MMC in June 2019 and also had a D and C and I’ve found since then my periods changed it comes earlier now and all over the place I also cramps more than I ever did and I ovulate around day 10 where I definitely didn’t before the D and C as my periods were 33 days apart. I also didn’t receive any follow up after the D and C just sent home with advice to follow x
