I recently got a hormonal IUD placed (3 weeks ago) and for the past few days I’ve had god awful cramps that feel like contractions (they get really bad for a minute or so and then reside), causing me to be bedridden. I thought it was just my period but I’ve had a lot of unprotected sex with no precaution whatsoever and now I’m left with this. Am I crazy for thinking this may be a miscarriage? I don’t know how soon my IUD went into affect but I had sex very soon after having it placed.
