Positive followed by Negatives

So, I am currently 15DPO (if my opk was right). 11DPO I was at the out of hours for a UTI and whilst there she done a PT which she said was negative most likely as it was too early. On 13DPO I was going to test on first pee although woke at 2.30am bursting so I done a test and it was a very clear positive, went back to bed unable to sleep very excited. I tested again at 10.30am and it was negative I thought as I drank loads of water at 6am it was maybe diluted, so I waited until 12.30pm and tested again and got a very very faint line. Tried again yesterday morning with first pee and got negative again? Not sure what’s going on at all, I’m using Poundland’s ‘first vue’ test strips.

My period was due yesterday and I experienced very light spotting when I wiped/none in pants at all which I never normally experience spotting. This has since cleared up and no period has came.

Was also experiencing mild cramps I think again I’ve never normally have cramps before, during or after period?

I know it’s a long post but really looking to see if anyone can give me any answers?

Do you have a picture of your positive test? I had a very similar thing happen two months ago and unfortunately I think it was a chemical pregnancy (very, very early miscarriage). My AF was a few days late after several days of spotting (not normal for me) and much heavier than usual.

No I really wish I took a picture though. I’ve been reading up on chemical pregnancy, surely tests wouldn’t change that quickly though? Uck I don’t know, feeling pretty down. Also feel like I’ve got every symptom right now but I know how similar they are to PMS so I guess it’s just a waiting game. Really want to know now 😭

Mine changed pretty suddenly - I had a positive one morning, followed by a much fainter positive mid afternoon, then a negative before I went to bed. I thought it was just because the urine was more diluted or not held long enough, but I then had a negative the next morning and AF started a few days later (heaviest of my life, definitely indicated something had happened). I'm so sorry, but it sounds a lot like what happened to me. I could be wrong though, I would test again tomorrow.

I’m sorry for your loss 💔 I’ve got a different test from Asda and will test fmu tomorrow.

I've got my fingers crossed for you!

@PinkStarGirl I'm in the same situation. I had a positive test CD28 then since then they have been negative. I am cd 32, af was due cd30.

@MrsC89
It’s so frustrating, I just want to know what’s going on with my body. Sending baby dust your way ⭐️

@PinkStarGirl thank you, baby dust to you too. I completely get what you mean, I was trying to explain to DH that I just want my body to decide either way and get on with it, but this horrible situation is stressing me out! I dont feel like AF is on the way at all. No spotting at all and still have creamy cm (lots)

PinkStarGirl · 01/01/2020 19:36

I guess we’ll find out soon. After doing some googling I’m hoping my spotting is actually implantation? As now it’s totally cleared up and no other signs of AF on the way.
