Are CB tests normally this faint?

I've never used a CB test before and you can barely see the control line, do they normally look like this? Is this trust worthy being so faint? I assume it would be 😞

I don’t think they are usually that faint, did you get enough urine on it?

Chanel05 · 01/01/2020 09:31

Op that looks like it could be an evap. Could you get a pink dye test?

TildaTurnip · 01/01/2020 09:34

I think the line in the Pregnant window is reasonably dark but the control line is faint especially if fmu.

kittycat10 · 01/01/2020 09:47

@Mooey89 I thought I got enough urine on it, same as I do every other test but maybe I didn't. I won't trust it then I think

@Chanel05 I've never seen an evap line before, not even sure I know what one is 😳 I do have another test was just trying not to waste it. I'm due on today and no sign of AF yet so I think I'll wait and test again tomorrow if not on

@TildaTurnip I can't see a line on the pregnancy bit, are you looking at the line across? I think that's just the way I've taken the photo, the line should be vertical

Yes the line across, sorry-it looks like there has been faint flooding in that bit which is odd.

kittycat10 · 01/01/2020 09:51

@Chanel05 I understand what an evap line is now, that came up quite quickly though (although not as quick as other tests) so does that mean it couldn't be an evap line?

@TildaTurnip what do you mean by flooding? Did I use too much urine? 🙈

It’s where the urine goes into too much of the window. I hate pregnancy tests as there is so much doubt and things that can go wrong so you end up buying lots to compare and get a Clear answer. I think blue dye tests are more notorious for ambiguity.

kittycat10 · 01/01/2020 10:14

@TildaTurnip yea I agree and you can end up wasting so much money on them. I have heard blue dye tests aren't the best, I have one CB left and one FRER but I think I will try and wait a couple more days
