When to TTC#2

Trying to decide when to start TTC#2, I would be interested to hear what others consider a good age gap?

Part of me wants DCs close together for their relationship and also to get the baby stage out the way at once but at the same time I feel a bit scarred from the newborn stage so can't imagine trying to juggle a toddler (unknown territory) and all the difficulties newborns can bring!
Maybe I'm being a bit negative Confused

Any advice would be great!

My first is 11 months old and we are currently trying to conceive baby number 2. I’m hoping for a small age gap but we did discuss making sure we were 100% ready before starting because with my first, we conceived on the first month’s try! If we get that lucky a second time, my first would be 20 months when baby is born. Which I consider a good (close) age gap. I do agree about the concerns for the unknown toddlerhood years alongside a newborn but I think that tricky part wouldn’t last long and would soon become your new ‘normal’ xx

Same situation... first was HARD with lots of medical issues but all resolved now. I basically said once I got 2 or 3 months proper sleep then we would think about trying and by that point I felt ready. Had a couple of friends who had their second while I had my first and they survived so guess I can wing it too! At least this time i have an idea of what i might be facing.

Took us a while to conceive and we have added complications now so I was wary of leaving it too long. Cycle 3 of tcc no2 now.
