Paternity Help!

Hi, I’m really stressed about the paternity of my baby. Me and my partner had a break and I had some sexual contact with someone else. We didn’t have penetrative sex. But there was dry humping (god what a term!) I’m currently 10weeks +4days pregnant. My LMP was 18th October. Which was 3 days after the dry hump. Is it possible that the baby isn’t my partners? I’m desperate to know if it’s possible to get pregnant 3 days before your LMP. Any advice gratefully received!!!

Hi, sorry that you are so worried!
To put your mind at rest, if you've had a period since being sexually active with a particular person then you are most definitely not pregnant from that encounter. Ovulation takes place between periods so your baby would have been conceived in the time following your last period.

Thank you SoulMama! I’ve been so stressed and worried. I just want to put the break behind us and be happy about our little miracle! Smile

It’s unlikely, but if there is sperm on hands and that transferred into your vagina you could become pregnant without penetrative sex taking place.

Even if it’s 3 days before my period? My periods are super regular so I’m hoping I would ovulate after that right?
