Is it positive or am I just seeing things?

Hi! This is my first time on here so apologies if I go wrong somewhere. I took a test this morning just one of the cheapy ones and I waited after 5 minutes and though I saw a line? Im 3 weeks late for my period and I am getting a bit worried. I had a copper IUD in but I was having issues for about 3 weeks so I went to the doctors on the 3rd December and they said it was falling out! So obviously I don’t know how long it had been out of place for but me and my partner weren’t using any other contraception up until that point! I went back to the doctors last week to try and get a blood test but he said they don’t consider a missed period cause for concern until you’ve missed 3 or 4 in a row! angry so now me and my partner are panicking a bit, I have done a few tests but this is the first time I could see a line (or think I can) unless I’m just going mad at this point blush thanks for taking the time to read, I know it is a bit long hahahaa. I am trying to attach a picture but I can’t see how to at the moment hahaaa

If you've only just signed up to mumsnet i think it takes a few days before you can post pictures.
Being 3 weeks late I would assume you would get a strong positive by now. The doctors probably won't send you for a blood test if you haven't had a positive home test. It might be the removal of the coil has upset your cycles although the copper one less so as it's not hormones based.
You could try using a first response test as they generally are more accurate than cheap ones.

I have had a few spots of blood this morning and had cramps and backache! Just took a first response test and it’s a very faint line! Does this mean I am pregnant or could it be a negative as it’s so faint? Thanks in advance guys :)

If your new you won't be able to post a photo for 48 hours I think. If your 3 weeks late a pregnancy test would have a really clear line on it by now. I guess you'll need to read test in a couple of days and see if the line you think you can see is any darker
