Came off mini pill... advice please.

I came off the mini pill just over a week ago and have been actively trying to conceive from the get go. Has anyone got experience on when to expect ovulation. A came off the pill in august for a month to prepare and have a 'clean out'
Any relatable stories would be amazing.
Fully aware everybody is different and am not really expecting anything for the first few months atleast.

Came off mini pill and got pregnant immediately, no waiting for a period. Good luck - it could be super quick.

Ohhh really @Terriergrrrrrrrr Thats interesting to know. Its so hard to know when to even test as im yet to have mother nature visit.

I too came off the mini pill no period and pregnant straight away. Must have taken all of a week!

Wow @Parkermumma07. Did you have any idea you would catch so soon? How long after stopping the pill did you take a test?

I came off the man pill didn't have anything for 5 months then got pregnant before my first af

I fell pregnant straight away coming off mini pill. Had a bit of spotting, thought AF was going to start. It had completely stopped by the next day, got BFP 4 days later.

I came off in January last year and just finished my period. My last cycle was 87 days...

I came of the mini pill and got pregnant 7 months after actively trying to conceive. I was on the mini pill on and off from the age of 17 until 31 when I got pregnant.

Sorry to add. I got pregnant after 7 months of actively trying. I came of the pill about 4 months prior to when we started to try, so I could get my body back to normal. So you could say it took a year but it only took 7 months trying. :) good luck. Try not to stress about it (I know that's not easy)

I have had abit of sickness and bloating/aching the past couple of days but by the sounds thats common when coming off the pill? Interesting to hear everybody's stories.

I stopped the mini pill end of october, fell pregnant 6 weeks alter, unfortunately ended up being a chemical.. so trying again 🤞🏼

I have had typical PMT symptoms for a few days now and sickness every afternoon. Still no period. Is this the norm?

Still got sickness. Woke up today full of hormones and tears! I stopped my pill on the 20th Decembet. When would be best to do a pregnancy test?

I had a period a week after stopping the pill. Then 5 months of trying i got pregnant. I think you could take a test now.

Came off pill in January, had 3 cycles and fell pregnant in June. The cycles were all over the shop but patience is a virtue and do not overthink it. Just enjoy yourselves.

I did a pregnancy test and is was a BFN (bg fat negative) on saturday
I have a smear test today... do i have to inform them I am actively trying to conceive?

I wasnt expecting a positive as I still havnt even had a period yet and it took my 6 months to fall pregnant with my oldest who is now nearly 9.

@xxlannixx have you heard of agnus castus? I'd recommend reading up on it, with dd I came off the pill and didn't have a af for 5 months gave it a go and 6 weeks later got a bfp ... could have been a coincidence but I'm convinced it works.

Side note- I'm not saying to out and by it please read up as there are lots of different opinions :)

I came off the mini pill last August after being on it for 10 - 15 years.
I thought it would be easy peasy to get pregnant but hindsight is a funny thing, we're still trying! So it looks like it's a real vary - some seem to get pregnant straight away but doesn't always happen.

With my second and third pregnancy I came off the mini pill and fell pregnant the first month before I'd had AF. This time I stopped taking the pill on 5th August, had my first bleed on 1st September and got my bfp last week.
