Sorry for your loss. I had a loss in November, have had a full cycle and period and now trying this cycle

ceebee21 · 29/12/2019 15:32

@Michette me I think....think it’s a chemical. Faint positive on Wednesday that has not progressed at all. Xx

Michette · 29/12/2019 17:11

@BuffaloCauliflower sorry about your loss. Did you have a natural MC? How long did you wait for a period?
I am thinking to not wait. I am on antibiotics for an infection and suspected incomplete MC but still have hope to have an all clear tomorrow at the scan it will be a week since properly bleeding.

@ceebee21 have you been trying for long? Give it a bit of time no? How many dpo are you? Fingers crossed for you

@Michette Jusf started bleeding! I was 15DPO, but AF usually arrived around 11, got a Bfp on 26th.

Statyed trying in August, fell pregnant Straight away, unfortunately ended in MMC with ERPC in October. Xx

@Michette I’m so sorry you’re going through this 😢 I miscarried two weeks ago yesterday at 5+3. Got a negative pregnancy test yesterday and started to show signs of ovulation! So I’m back on the baby making train right now.

Hang in there lovey - sending hugs ❤️

BuffaloCauliflower · 29/12/2019 18:52

@Michette natural miscarriage at 5+3, so very early. It seems it was developing in the tube so best it didn’t carry on. I bled for a few days then and logged it as period (I use Natural Cycles, for TTC I was using it for contraception before) I had a normal 28 day cycle from there, then I’ve just had unusually short 25 day cycle with a very early ovulation, I’m usually like clockwork so think that was my body righting itself, period finished over the weekend. I’d give yourself at least one full cycle before trying again, let it settle

Michette · 29/12/2019 19:38

Probably better as an ectopic would be a disaster -it’s one of my biggest fears... short cycles are good! You get to try more often...
I know i should probably wait but i really want this. I quit my job and we are so ready... but ofc if the doctors advise against we will wait..

@ceebee21 Sad damn, sorry to hear. It was my first try as well... we were over the moon got pregnant 12 days after pill stopped. But the fetus was too small for his age and i was 6w5 when miscarried.
What is a chemical?
You can still try in two weeks? Are you tracking?

@TerribleImagination
thank you! And sorry to hear about your MC. Are you also tracking ovulation or just natural way?
When did you start having sex again ?
My pregnancy test is still positive no i am waiting another week at least...

Hoping for healthy successful pregnancies for everyone for 2020 Smile

Sorry to hear this. I had a Mc in October, we went straight back to it but af came 4 weeks later so trying again this cycle. Plenty of people start trying straight away, it's just when you feel is right for you really. I've heard it's quite common to get pregnant straight away too after a Mc, didn't happen for us but apparently it can happen Thanks

ceebee21 · 29/12/2019 21:15

@Michette a chemical is a really early miscarriage...more likely to know about it if you test early. You get a BFP but then a few days later the line fades and AF arrives

Xx

Sammyclaire22 · 29/12/2019 21:48

I'm not in the situation now, but 2 years ago I had an ectopic pregnancy. I wanted to start trying again as soon as I could so the next month we dtd and I got pregnant again... my 16 mo is asleep upstairs now!
So from my experience even after surgery if you physically feel ok and No contraindications from the Dr then go ahead. I was told a few times you are more fertile immediately after a loss- ether way it took us a year to conceive then we managed to twice in a row.

TerribleImagination · 30/12/2019 11:36

@Michette I was using Clearblue advanced to track ovulation before, but this month (right after the miscarriage) I decided to just go with the signs my body gives me, which are always usually really accurate. Just DTD every other day while I have EWCM. If we don’t get lucky this month then I’ll go back to Clearblue next month.

I think it was just over a week after I miscarried that we had sex again. The bleeding had stopped a fair few days before. I did feel a bit odd the first time, but wanted to get back to ‘normal’ and also just get DTD in case I ovulated early without realising!

So sorry to hear the tests are still positive 😢 I waited 2 weeks to test again, as I just couldn’t face seeing a positive knowing there was nothing there anymore. I did drink loads of water and also a couple of cups of green tea every day to help get the HCG down. My friend (who’s a midwife) had a molar pregnancy last year, and so had to get her HCG down ASAP after her D&C and green tea and water helped.

I was in this situation at the start of the year.
I got pregnant in January, miscarried in February (five weeks) and fell pregnant again in March.
The February loss was my second miscarriage and so I know how devastating the whole process can be and my heart goes out to you.
I'm very fortunate though, currently typing this with my newborn son in my arms.
I wish you lots and lots of luck. Big hugs.

Pilot12 · 30/12/2019 11:54

I had a miscarriage last year at 12 weeks. I found that planning to conceive again helped me deal with my loss and it gave me something to focus on.

I got the Ovia Fertility App and Clear Blue Advanced Digital Fertility Tests. I conceived four months after my mc and my baby is now six months.

When I had my mc the hospital told me to wait a year to allow myself to grieve but I was 43 and time was not on my side.

Michette · 31/12/2019 06:10

Thank you so much ladies for telling me your stories! And reading successful ones gives me so much hopeSmile
@TerribleImagination thanks for all the details. And I will try the green tea from today Wink

I am on the TTC after a miscarriage - January 2020 thread (if i remember the name correctly) i have see. A few of you there as well Flowers

I had a chemical in January (will be a year on the 7th) and only DTD once in the month following as I was so low. This is cycle 13 for me this month.

BS9790 · 02/01/2020 00:12

Hi, hope I can join the thread.
Non viable pregnancy confirmed through blood tests 19th/21st December, minimal spotting on and off since 18th December. Bleeding and cramps then started on 30th and still going.
Seems so unfair that it seems to take so long, I'd picked myself up... Just for the bleeding to come this week and set off all the emotions full force again.

Anyway, as soon as we can I'll be ttc!
