TTC with Hashimoto’s / under active thyroid

Hiya, just wondering if anyone can share TTC success stories with hashimotos?

I have fallen pregnant twice in 3 cycles, one ended in a MMC and I think this one is a chemical.

I am currently taking thyroxine, and my last blood test showed TSH level under 2.5

Thanks xx

Are you seeing an endocrinologist, op?
If not I'd ask to be referred to one.

Not yet, I’ve got a gp appt tomorrow and will be asking for one...just don’t feel like the GP has a great knowledge of the issue - don’t even Do the full thyroid blood test xx

You do need to see the experts, op.
Being under the care of an endo from the start of a pregnancy
is the best way so your blood test levels optimum to support a pregnancy.

Your GP sounds worse than useless but a lot of labs just don't do certain tests now. I haven't had a T3 test in years despite being on Armour thyroid.

I ended up doing a private test with medichecks, and it showed my antibodies are way out, however the T3, T4 and TSH all ok.

Just frustrating that your GP doesn’t do it, so they have all on record. Defo going to ask for that referral tomorrow.

Have you been TTC?
