When do i mark cycle day one?

Hey everyone,

I'm wanting to try the sperm meets egg plan this cycle, my first time trying anything lile this. But i have what I think is a pretty basic question lol.

I have to mark cycle day 1 correct in order to be most accurate, do i mark cycle day one as the first day i saw any blood (evening of the 23rd light pink whilst wiping after going to the toilet, period cramps started.) Or do i mark day 1 from full flow period. (Woke up 24th full flow and needing tampon.)

Just wondered which day other people would say was the first day of my period?

At the fertility clinic I used they said day 1 is the first day that you have any bleed by 9am.

So your example would be 24th regardless. If you started with cramps and blood when wiping at 3pm and needed a tampon by 6pm, it will still be Day 1 the next day. If you woke at 7am and wiped blood, then didn't need a tampon until 11am, it's still Day 1.
