I have quite up and down cycles and I have no idea when I ovulated this month, I took a tescos cheapie yesterday evening (5 days before af) and I've had a really faint positive, but I don't trust the tescos ones so it could be a convincing evap, I took another with fmu and it was more faint than the one from last night, has anyone had any experiences with the tescos tests? Are they reliable? I've had 3 miscarriages and I'm worried

Use a frer. I don’t trust own brands xx

They don't sell them where I live, I'm waiting for some that I ordered but they won't be here until the new year 😓

Hi
I had almost the exact same thing happen and mine is very very similar to yours my evening test showed what I thought was a line (sorry, doesn’t look as strong in the pic) then when I used fmu there was still a line but a lot fainter ..... this was also a Tesco cheapie xx

I've had another weird line on a first response, I'll test again in the morning because I'm still not convinced but I think it might be a positive, I'm refusing to celebrate yet though fingers crossed this one sticks x

BTay15 did you test with any other tests? I've heard blue dye tests aren't the most reliable but that looks like a positive to me x

I’d heard the same, I’ve not tested again yet but I plan on doing a first response as well as they seem more reliable from what I’ve seen. Sounds promising if something showed for you on a frer as well! Fingers crossed for you! Someone told me the Tesco false positives are usually a thin blue/grey line that are usually more one sided so I do think yours looks quite promising as well 🤞🏻 x

Cat132435 · 30/12/2019 20:39

It was a false positive 😓

@Cat132435 I’m so sorry. How do you know it was a false positive? Your urine may have been more diluted if you had a negative test x

Cat132435 · 31/12/2019 15:44

I took a few frer tests and then came on my period this morning
