Breastfeeding and TTC

Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone could share their experience? I'm breastfeeding my 13 month old and want to TTC #2. My periods have come back, I've had 2 cycles - the first seemed normal at 33 days but last cycle was only 22 days long!

Is it normal for periods to be a bit irregular like that when they return? Does anyone have any advice or is in a similar boat?

How often are you breastfeeding? My dd is 25 months and I'm feeding her one or twice a day. I'm currently on cycle 5 of ttc whereas with our three other children I fell pregnant first cycle, but don't know whether that's just coincidence as I'm also older now as well obviously?

@Crazymummyto3 - I'm still breastfeeding quite a lot, my LG has been ill so it's been 10+ times in 24 hours. When she's well it's 2-3 times in the day and once or twice at night. I was pleased when my periods came back, I thought they might be more delayed by all the feeding!
