Cenception after nexplanon removed

Hello

I am new to this and not entirely sure how to post (had to Google).

I had the nexplanon removed last Friday, today (Friday) I have a very faint positive test. I did one and could see a faint line so did another and could see a clearer line. My partner could see it also! I took a photo and have changed the lighting in the pic but I'm sure I can also see it too! Is there any way of uploading a photo?

I can't find any info on early positive texts this soon but we have DTD daily as the implant reduced my sex drive (I've been reading plenty of posts to find the abreviations haha). Had the implant in for 3 years, any advice on how to upload a photo to see if we're going crazy lol!

Thanks in advance if anyone replies!

Seems like a bit soon, not sure if implant would mess with a teat? Did you have regular periods while on the implant? Mine took a good few months after having the implant removed to settle down. And jesus tell me about the implant affecting libido, I've felt like a changed woman after having it removed! 😂

SuperMummy91 · 27/12/2019 20:50

@botbird84 hello thanks for replying, the dr who removed it said if I got a positive it's a positive, as soon as its removed I could be fertile plus the running up days before. I'm definitely very fertile anyway however this is incredible! I was taking ST John's Wort 5 days before it was removed to lift my mood a little and they said that may also affect it. I really want to upload the photo!! I've gained 3.5st in the last two years it's been awful!

Are you using mobile or computer to post? If mobile, click the plus at the bottom of the post :)

Just below the box you type in to reply, there is a paper clip button. If you press that it'll give you the option to upload a photo

BabyGsMummynow · 27/12/2019 20:56

I got pregnant straight away, didn’t even have a period it was that quick so it does happen Smile

SuperMummy91 · 27/12/2019 21:01

Hello all

I don't have a paperclip etc but Google searches say there is a 28day wait until I can upload photos. I wonder if I could make it my photo on here as a sort of display photo (not sure if that's a thing)?

Try uploading to an image hosting site like imgbb or imgur and posting the link Smile

SuperMummy91 · 27/12/2019 22:03

@SuperMummy91 yep, can see the photo. What test did you use? Have you got the original image?

SuperMummy91 · 27/12/2019 22:47

@botbird84 it's a freedom test from tesco, it's so very faint but the camera is also shocking. Googling images I'm thinking an evap line but got faints on another 2 but very very light

@botbird84 I've also uploaded the unedited photo to the other website :-)

@SuperMummy91 yeah I see it. How long did the results take to show? When did you do the test? It looks positive to be fair, maybe test again in a couple of days? Fingers crossed for you! Xx

SuperMummy91 · 27/12/2019 23:13

Within around 2 mins, wasn't instant but was relatively soon. The photo was done within 5 mins as I sent it to my DP as he had gone to asda for a clear blue. That subsequently is either very very faint or a BFN (I'm doing well at these abbreviations)!!. If its negative then that's that it's just given me a little hope! Got another clearblue and 2 other cheap ones so may do another cheap Sunday, Monday then clearblue Tuesday? I did the test at 18:30 xx

@SuperMummy91 try and do it in the morning (FMU = first morning urine). The hormone the test looks for is more concentrated then so you might get a stronger result x

SuperMummy91 · 28/12/2019 13:17

Hello :-)

I did a test again this morning and will upload the photo to the other website. I definitely see a line! I could have conceived on the Friday when it was removed as I'd had the St John's tablets prior and dtd so that would roughly make it 7dpo? Today would be 8? I'm sure theres a line.. Its clearer today so will put the first photo and the black and white version x

It does seem a bit early but good luck! I had my implant taken out 11 days ago, so we are in similar situations

ElleFish · 04/02/2020 11:47

Did you a get BFP?

SuperMummy91 · 27/03/2020 19:04

Hello!!

No had a lot of false bfp on asda tests!! I am now however 7 weeks pregnant 😊 conceived on the second cycle (had first period 24 days after removal then cycle was 24 days long) 😊
