I'm new to ttc so would love some advice. I have a medical condition that I take regular medication for, but it is not recommended during early pregnancy. Specialists have advised that I take it while ttc, but try to find out if I am pregnant as early as possible and then come off it, so early detection is very important for me. I've heard FRER is the best, but they're just so expensive, I can't afford to be using a few of them each cycle. Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative with similar sensitivity? Has anyone had an early BFP with a cheaper brand? Thanks.

I used the internet cheapies off amazon. They were called One Step, I used their ovulation sticks. I may of been very lucky with them but I got a positive on those BEFORE a FRER (you can get two FRER for £9 on amazon)
The first FRER was done on the Friday AM with the cheapie and the FRER on the Monday - I wasn't due on until the Thursday so the cheapie got it 6 days before AF
