Resting heart rate after period

Hi ladies, just a quick one, I wear my Fitbit constantly, I normally get a rise in my resting heart rate during ovulation and then it drops back down to pre ovulation resting heart rate as soon as AF arrives, AF arrived 13th dec and was a normal period but my resting heart rate hasn’t dropped at all, it’s still as high as it was before AF arrived, I’ve read this can indicate pregnancy but I’ve done a test and it’s been negative.

Has anyone had this before and been pregnant ? Thanks 😊

If you've had a normal period and a negative pregnancy test, then you are very very unlikely to be pregnant. Sorry.

Resting heart rate is also changed by the hormones linked to your emotions such as adrenaline. It's possible hoping/thinking you might be pregnant has caused a change in your heart rate. Although try testing again in a few days just to be sure. I hope it's not too long before you are pregnant, good luck.
