Very long story short - been TTC for 2 years, 5 pregnancies resulting in miscarriages between 5 and 10 weeks. I am 41 in February so desperately trying as I feel time is running out. I have started using OPK's and it's a total minefield! We DTD Sunday and Monday - I had a strong positive (test darker than control) at 6pm on Tuesday - didn't get a chance to DTD. Then got another strong positive at 6pm on Wednesday and again, being Christmas and having family over didn't DTD. Finally was able to DTD Thursday morning!!. Have I missed the window?? Why am I getting 2 days of strong positive?? I dont temp as DH reckons it would put too much pressure on us but this is wrecking my head!! Do I count Tuesday as positive meaning I would have ovulated Wednesday? If so would Thursday morning be too late to catch eggy? I feel like I'm going mad....HELP!!!

Impossible to be sure. Most people ovulate around 24 hours after their first peak reading, but for a few people it's sooner and for others it can be 48 hours later.

It's most likely that you ovulated at some point on Wednesday afternoon/evening, so Thursday may very conceivably (excuse the pun) catch the egg. It won't have been the absolute best time to have DTD, but is very likely to have still been in the window.

Good luck!
