Can anyone see a faint cross line in the bigger window?

not v good quality - rubbish with tech.

Its a Tescos own test, I am 2 days late. There would be a cross in the big window if positive. I pee'd in a pot and dipped it but only for 10 secs not the 20 the instructions said, like a numpty. A thin cross line is there but it is thin and it is faint so I wondered if it was an evaporation line?

Sexnotgender · 24/12/2019 15:00

I see a hint of a line but I’m not a fan of blue dye tests.

pinboard · 24/12/2019 15:03

Thanks, Sexnotgender
which are the most reliable, would you say?

ThoroughlyForumed · 24/12/2019 15:03

I think I see one but its sooooo faint. Was it your first wee of the day? Perhaps wait until the morning and try again before drinking anything. Can you go out and grab a pink dye test today?

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 24/12/2019 15:19

Sorry I don't see anything - given that you are 2 days late you would have a clear line by now if it was a BFP

pinboard · 24/12/2019 15:54

I did the test at 2am (so really 1 day late) and after a huge cup of tea at 11pm (I was thirsty).
I've been having AF symptoms (sore lower back) but 'pingy feelings' on left hand side and also tingly nipples.
I guess i just wait a few days and test again.

Which test is most reliable, please?

ThoroughlyForumed · 24/12/2019 16:05

Any test is fine really, but if you can find a test that's pink dye rather than blue they do have a better reputation. Some people swear by the FRER brand, but to be honest they're quite expensive so I'd just get a couple of whatever you can comfortably afford and good luck Flowers

pinboard · 24/12/2019 16:07

Thanks, ThoroughlyForumed

pinboard · 24/12/2019 16:08

And I agree you can't really see anything on the pics, the actual test is clearer, I'm not very good with my phone camera

ThinkPink71 · 24/12/2019 17:14

Sorry cant see anything :( xx

Sexnotgender · 24/12/2019 17:38

Pink dye tests are my preference.

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 24/12/2019 17:39

Blue dye tests are not great. I'd go for a pink dye one too. The Asda ones used to be good if a FRER isn't in budget.

Mooey89 · 26/12/2019 20:03

I can see something but take a first response.

Whyhaveidonethis · 26/12/2019 20:44

@StripeyChina @pinboard name change fail, in case you didn't want anyone to link your names, I though I'd let you know.

I've heard bad things about thin evaps on these tests. Sorry it's hard to see from the picture.

pinboard · 27/12/2019 09:45

Whyhaveidonethis Ty re the name change fail. x
(I logged on from my phone which I've not done for about 2 years

Both tests I took had quite strong thin 'cross' lines (much clearer than on my bad pic). I'd certainly not use those tests again

I got a heavy painful AF yesterday so - not to be.
Thanks to all who posted anyway.
