Cheapie Tests Vs Clear Blue etc...

Hi ladies,

First time post on this forum. I usually post on Infertility but thought this would be a bit insensitive. I've attached 2 photos of my internet cheapie pregnancy tests from my first morning wee today - look pretty positive to me but I need to get a proper Clear Blue one and check again. Unfortunately we have to sit through Star Wars at the cinema before that can happen!

I have never had so much as a faint line on a test in my life so I'm looking for a bit of reassurance on this Christmas Eve and wondered if other people have done the same - internet cheapie vs digital tests - and what the results were? I'm still not really believing this, after everything we've been through, so please don't be afraid to be brutally honest! Grin

Thanks in advance. X

Some of the strongests lines I have seen on one of them tests. Looking very promising. Congratulations. X

Aww thanks for your reply, @JLR12. This is all such an unknown for me! Will try a CB later today but guess I need to repeat in the morning to be sure - it will certainly make or break Xmas Day! X

That looks like the most definite BFP I've ever seen! Congrats!

Wrong way around but you get my point - yours are super strong! Congratulations!

ThinkPink71 · 24/12/2019 12:11

Yup I can deffo see two lines! And I have never answered yes when people use these tests!! xx

sarahc336 · 24/12/2019 13:43

Erm these are not faint lines ha ha I thought they were ovulation tests when I first saw them, they are very strong!!! Xx

TheArtfulScreamer1 · 24/12/2019 13:50

Congratulations you've got your Christmas miracle Xmas Grin

Mumofboys1 · 24/12/2019 14:25

Well, I used to work as a student making pregnancy tests, same thing different packaging.

Also, though I did CB with DS2, negative. Did cheapo Tesco, positive...and obviously I have my DS2!

Crazymummyto3 · 24/12/2019 14:38

That is a strong positive! Congratulations ☺️

Chichz · 24/12/2019 15:13

Thanks so much for all your replies ladies.

I didn't doubt that this was saying positive, just that the actual test may not have been as reliable as a CB one. I've bought one now but going to hold off til tomorrow morning, eek!

This would mean so much, as we're currently waiting to begin the IVF process. Not having to put ourselves through that really would be a miracle Grin.

Have a lovely Christmas all! Xx

Given how strong those positives are I think you'd get a positive on your clear blue without waiting for FMU but it would be lovely for you to confirm it on Christmas morning. My currently snoring 9 month DD is a result of IVF and a positive test after struggling sometimes takes some believing.

Chichz · 24/12/2019 16:15

@TheArtfulScreamer1 So glad it worked out for you. I can't imagine the toll IVF takes.

I definitely agree. It really is only the first hurdle but surreal nonetheless! X

Merry Christmas ladies! If any of you are still here - pic attached Grin.

That line is pretty bloody strong for 2-3 weeks, so now wondering if it's twins! I have been taking Clomid too, so going to push for an early scan when I can get into the docs.

Thanks again for all your help and best of luck to everyone TTC. X

Hi all

Not sure if this thread is still active but could really use your help, the attached picture was earlier the two Sainsbury's tests were about 20 minutes apart then I drank so much water on route to the super market and did the clear blue and it came back negative but the I really thought the other two lines were super clear????? Any ideas ???

Is clear blade digital too early to do (af not due for 4 days)

Thanks so much xxx
