TTC after implant

Hi lovely ladies!

I had my implant out on Wednesday (18th) so me and other half can TTC our first. The doctor said it is possible to conceive right away. Has anyone else had experience of this?
No sign of AF yet, not sure when I'm supposed to test or if I should just wait for AF.

I know it's only been a week but already driving myself mad Blush

I had ds 9 months and 10 days after implant removal!! No period first!!

I conceived 6 weeks after implant removal when we tried for our son 😊 good luck 🤞

I had mines removed on the 7th of October this year and ttc straight away I didn't get my first af until 23/11/19 so don't be too upset if it doesn't happen straight away but fingers crossed for you!

Thanks for the replies :) think I'll try resist the urge to test before Christmas. I have a DS from previous relationship so wouldn't want to be grumpy over Christmas Day haha

I ovulated about 3 weeks after implant removed. Didn't get pregnant but things definitely started working again quickly.

I've heard loads and loads of very quick conception stories after implant. I had mine out September and my cycles have been extremely short since making it impossible to conceive! I'm only 28 and conceived right away 3 years ago after being on the pill and always had 28 day cycles.

Fingers crossed you aren't like me!

Thank you all for sharing. Implant has only been out a week today and I gave in and POAS - BFN ss expected Shock - although feels great to be back in the TTC gang. So excited (and impatient)

I had my implant out on 24th Jan. Ds was born 25th jan the following year. Which meant he was conceived some time late april, so 3 months after it came out. Good luck!
