This is my first cycle using Ava since I had a miscarriage in November, does anyone else use it and understand it? Does the chart mean I have ovulated? Struggling with understanding what it all means and would appreciate some guidance! Thank you 😘

Hi @Peach7744 I use an Ava and I would say just give it another couple cycles. It needs that to really learn your body and fertility patterns.
I usually focus on the temperature bit. You are looking for a temp spike after ovulation and it will continue to climb over the coming weeks. This increase isn’t huge but you will notice it on the chart. If you fall pregnant that month then the temp will remain high. If not then the temp will drop again in time for AF.
After a couple cycles your bracelet will begin to identify your Biphasic pattern which is basically this fluctuation of temperatures within your cycle. If it identifies this pattern it tells you after you’ve synced and there will be a little tick over your ovulation day symbol.
It can seem like a confusing and overwhelming stream of data but just wear it every night over your next two cycles and hopefully you will start to see patterns. These might link to other signs like EWCM or cramps etc. Log it all down in your app. I have several custom logs so I can try to find patterns.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi @Positivity2019 thank you for replying, so to you does it look like I have ovulated this cycle. From what I understand would it have been day 18? Ava is saying it has seen that pattern as have had three consecutive temp increases over the last few days or should I ignore this whole months results as it's my first month? Xx

I would trust in the bracelet if it is saying you ovulated with a biphasic pattern. That’s great as well as the BP is a good indicator you are ovulating. My temp spike is usually right after ovulation day but your one seemed to go down for a few days and then climb. However you may have ovulated a little later than the bracelet predicted. So don’t rule it out but see what it looks like next month. I would say for me after a few months I could see clear similarities in each cycle.

Hi @Positivity2019 sorry another question! according to this does it look like I ovulated on day 19? That’s what I am understanding from my chart I think? Also if I ovulate late does that mean my period should come late? I normally have a 28day cycle but have never tracked ovulation before. I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative but hoping too early maybe Thank you ❤️

Yes I’d say day 19 looks like it has the dip and then rise pattern you are looking for. You may well still have a 28 day cycle though if that’s what is normal for you. It may be you have a shorter Luteal phase.
When is your AF due?

Peach7744 · 23/12/2019 18:31

My af is due on Saturday, well supposedly though this is my first cycle since I had a miscarriage In November so I'm
Unsure if that will have changed things. When I got pregnant previously I think my ovulation day must have been earlier than day 19. As I used an early detection test three days before af was due (so would be Wednesday this time) I tested this morning and got a negative so am hoping there is a tiny chance I am testing too early! Xx

I’m sorry about your miscarriage. Give your body some time to recover from that. Wait to test again Sat if still no AF I think. Then if it does arrive I would maybe focus on having a few cycles of using the Ava, figuring out what your cycle is doing after your loss and DTD plenty as well.
I tracked for three months with my Ava before properly giving it a go at TTC although we were of course DTD lots and hoping for a wee surprise. It’s such a hard process I think, just mentally draining. We have been off the pill since June and I’ve not had a whiff of a BFP and some irregular cycles too. I’ve struggled with this as I was always a regular 28 day cycle like clockwork.
I’m due my AF on Saturday too so potentially we are both testing then!! I’m going to have my fingers crossed we both get an amazing prezzie from Santa this year!!

Giant nope!! AF shower her miserable face this afternoon, three days early. No Xmas baby surprise for me. Good luck to you for Saturday

Hi @Positivity2019 just wondered how you were getting on this month? My chart is looking a little more normal I think, But I am getting high fertility on clear blue ovulation tests everyday no peak days!? Any ideas? ❤️
