Hi all, just hoping for some positive things from this post really, been to the hospital today for my gynaecology appointment and I have really bad endometriosis again, to the point my right ovary has attached itself very securely to my womb and he's not sure if the tubes are blocked or not. He's getting me in for a laparoscopy and tube dye after the new year. Until he operates he doesn't know if anything else is attached to anything. He's hoping to remove the tissue without causing any damage to my ovary at all 🤞🏻 This will be the third op since 2010, others weren't as bad and this time the endometriosis has spread further.
He's concerned that I've not been on contraception for 10 months and I haven't been caught yet. He said pregnancy would help the best but if that doesn't happen soon then the op will be going ahead after the new year.
I already have two children aged 11 and 8 new partner now and he also has a 6 year old. So we both have had children it's just now this has got to this stage it's putting me down and they've already mentioned a hysterectomy in the future (after hopefully completing our family) but I'm only 27 and didn't want to think about that as unless that's what's really needed I'd not like my (ladyhood) removed from me.
Has anyone had any success stories after this procedure?
Last time I had this done I wasn't TTC.
Thanks in advance x
