Narrow line on Tesco test

Hi all,

Period is due 24th December, have had sore boobs and have been TTC. I tested on Monday (early, I know!) with a Tesco test and got a really narrow, v straight line. Tested with a First Response Early Result today and it’s a BFN. Anyone else have this? V confused!

Exact same happened to me! Was it the Freedom cheapie from Tesco? My line was really thin... after about 100 other tests (including FRER 5days later) AF arrived. Won't buy those tests again.

This is a Tesco test very common fault, they are very blue but very thing evaps, I had two of these from the same pack and I was not pregnant sorry xx

Did you the test with a different brand? If you google it there are lots of posts about the Tesco tests being awful for thin lines that aren't true bfp xx

Hi Sarah! Yes I tried with a FRER but it was negative. Will try again with one of them tomorrow morning! Thanks for your help. :)

@maria try to wait a few days as AF it's still a long way, this will save you money.

Try to wait at least until Saturday or Sunday, it's quite early to see a line.

Hope you get a BFP soon.
