Could this be morning sickness?

Two days until AF due and no other symptoms of pregnancy. I never get sick and feel so nauseous right now. No other symptoms of being ill so know I don't have a virus. Never feel nauseous before AF due so not likely a PMS symptom. Woke up about 4 days ago feeling so sick and nearly threw up (nothing makes me throw up!!) and felt sick from 4am til 2pm today and just started up again now at 6pm. Last time I felt like this was with my last pregnancy and it was actually morning sickness. Sweet smells making my stomach turn. Could this be morning sickness or is it way too early? Testing negative so far. xx

I had that last month but it lasted beyond my period... I tested loads convinced it was morning sickness (felt just like when I was pg!) But gp thinks it was either labyrinthitis or vertigo, cleared up on its own either way x

I think its sensitivity to HCG that causes morning sickness? If that's right then the fact there isn't enough HCG to make the test positive you'd think there wouldn't be enough HCG to trigger nausea.

I'm no expert though!

Good luck!

@INeedNewShoes yeah I agree with you there, you would think that if there was enough hcg to make me feel sick there would be enough to show up positive on a test! However I have heard of women feeling nauseous 8dpo and negative results and ending up getting bfps after AF due. I may try an early detection test today anyway 🤞🏻 x

Before AF I never got a positive on a one-step/IC test but from 12dpo I'd get a visible line on FRER.

You can drive yourself potty symptom spotting. It's all about the hpt!

When did you last test? I got a BFN 3 days before AF due... gave up all hope and tested 2 days later fully expecting another BFN... but now I'm laying here 19 weeks pregnant feeling the baby kick 😍😍😍 You're not out until AF is here! Morning sickness effects everyone differently but if you know this isn't normal for you it could be a sign!
Are you going to test again?
Good luck!!!

@november90 thank you so much for the reply, it's so nice to hear something so positive!! Congrats on your pregnancy 😍😍 I will test again today with an early detection test and if negative will just have to wait and see if AF arrives. I'm due tomorrow and ever so slight cramping so woke up this morning expecting AF soon, but still can't shake the feeling.. I will update this post either way xx

Aww thank you! I really hope this is your month :) everyone feels different things at different stages on pregnancy so some people may totally disagree and others agree! But for me I can't a 100% BFN in the Monday and a BFP on the weds! I have never been so shocked in my life!

Sydneey · 16/12/2019 21:19

@november90 I really hope this is my month too. I tested with an early detection test and got a BFN unfortunately so waiting for AF to arrive any time now.. if it doesn't show I will test again. I have no other symptoms, not even pms symptoms which I always have a lot of (sore boobs, lots of cramping, tiredness etc) but nothing other than nausea. It's always so confusing lol.
It must be such an amazing feeling being able to feel your baby kick!! Such an exciting time for you ❤️ is this your first pregnancy??

@Sydneey oh I'm sorry about the bfn :(
It's so hard to not symptom spot, I drove myself crazy as I didn't feel any different at all not even pms and then I got my bfp. I think ttc is the most emotionally overwhelming thing I've ever experienced!
I've got one little boy already who is 3 in jan. He was a surprise baby so this time was my first time actually ttc. I have really long cycles normally... like 40 plus days so it was just draining!!! Have you been tracking your ovulation?
I hope you're doing well and I'll keep it all crossed for you :)
