Why am I doing it to myself?

Hi all, this is my first cycle ttc baby number 2. With my 1st I fell pregnant straight away and didnt "actively try" as such. I am only 5-7 dpo and ive done 3 pregnancy tests already. which are obviously negative why am I doing it to myself? It's actual torture and this is only cycle 1!! Much love to all of you especially those who have beem ttc a long time because I've found it horrible already. Xxx

I am basically the same I’ve done I dunno how many tests since and I think I’m 11dpo now. I think next cycle I need to relax and not buy any tests until later in my cycle and only test from 12dpo onwards.

I think it’s just what happens when you start TTC, you’re excited and it involves so much waiting! It makes you a little bit crazy. I have to go searching google most nights because I convince myself I’m not pregnant because of small things and then I like the comfort google gives me that I still might be.

I can’t stand it, but I have to find a way to cope with it better as all these tests are costing a fortune haha

Oh my god tell me about it. Its actual torture isnt it and im like this on cycle one!!!!! Lots and lots of baby dust to you! Xx

When is AF due? I'm due 22-25th i dont actually know exactly lol. We will have to keep eachother informed! X

If it makes you feel better, my first cycle I tested before I was due to ovulate. Just in case I ovulated immediately after stopping the pill 😊

@MsChatterbox oh hahaha why does it send us all crazy? What cycle are you on now? I think I'm gonna need to remortgage my house to pay for all these pregnancy tests lol

First cycle TTC #2 and I think I'm due on the 21st.... I've not tested yet because we've been abroad which was a good distraction but I don't have much hope anyway.

Ttc just makes women a special kind of crazy 😂😂. Luckily I caught on cycle 6. Regarding pregnancy tests, get clear and simple from b&m or savers. 99p for 2. Gave me a line at 11dpo. And no evap lines in previous cycles. Whereas frers gave me loads of fake lines within time frame! Good luck. Hopefully it is a quick journey for you 🤞🏻
