I have had two tests look like this 1 week apart. Attached below. And really finding it hard is it an evap line or am I pregnant?
(First photo is today's test and second is the one from last week)

They look positive to me (all 3 of my DC started with tests that looked like that...)

Mich2020 · 14/12/2019 23:04

Looks positive x congratulations

Possibleyoungmum17 · 15/12/2019 07:04

However the only thing is that took about 10-15 minutes to show the line. It didn't show straight away so would it still be a positive?

Just wanted to say that looks like a numark test? I've read online they're awful for evaps that look positive, I'd try a different brand if it is. Good luck Flowers

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 15/12/2019 07:24

No. Positives will show up within the timeframe given for the test, any lines that come up after that can't be trusted, especially tests done a week apart, sorry.

Possibleyoungmum17 · 15/12/2019 07:28

Thank you. It's just Im now a week late and that never happens. Usually I'm dead on time!!

Try another brand of test. I never believed it till I invested in a digital one. Fingers crossed for you!

Fluffballs · 15/12/2019 07:33

I think red dye tests are supposed to give clearer answers as well? Morrisons and co op do cheap ones I think

Possibleyoungmum17 · 15/12/2019 08:01

Which tests would everyone recommend? Cheap and cheerful if possible please? Also has anyone tried the Poundland ones? Or cheaply ones from Asda?

If you want to be sure then I'd buy a First Response test. But those tests really do look positive to me. The alternative is to go to your GP and ask for a blood test for confirmation.

MsChatterbox · 15/12/2019 09:41

Cheap and cheerful get clear and simple. I find them in b&m and savers. Gave a good line at 11dpo for me and never gave evaps in previous months.

Possibleyoungmum17 · 15/12/2019 12:47

Thank you guys. I took a pink dye one and it was negative. So I'm really confused. Do I still go to the doctors?

OP posts:
MsChatterbox · 15/12/2019 13:20

I would trust the pink dye if I was you. 10-15 mins is too long and likely to be an evap. Hopefully you get the result you want soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Dont go to the Drs for just being a week late. The GP isnt going to be interested until theres a pattern of being late/erratic over a few months
