Anyone testing for new year?

As the title says, is anyone testing around New Year's Day? I'm currently on CD13 and due to ovulate around Tuesday, which would mean AF would be due 2nd January. It's our 5th cycle of ttc, but this is the first month we're going to 'properly' try as things seemed to have got in the way the previous months such as sickness bugs and work 🙄 I'm hoping things can feel a lot more relaxed now around Christmas. I'm going to try my best not to test too early this time (easier said than done!) and really try to hold off testing until 1st January. What a lovely new year surprise that would be! 🤞

Me! Very similar to you as well. This will be cycle 6 for us. I’m CD 16 but don’t usually ovulate until CD 20 which will be Tuesday. OH is away Monday night so will have to make sure we DTD Monday morning and Tuesday night.
Hoping Christmas will make the TWW go quickly and we’ll get some good news to start the year with. Good Luck!!

Yes 🙌🏼 af is due 30th December so will be testing just before new year! Wishing you both luck for a bfp new year 🙂

I got my first static smiley today so will be in the tww in a day or two!

My cycles have been a bit all over the place since stopping the pill - 28, 27, 33 and 33 days so I'll be testing around the same time too. I've been using IC OPKs and it's starting to get darker so think I'll be ovulating in the next couple of days - my 3 apps 🙈 all say Tuesday. I would love to have a BFP for new year 🤞 Good luck to us all!

I have reallllyyyy irregular periods and will be testing between Christmas and new year but I have no idea when I actually ovulated or when I'm due on.

I havent started using opks yet but I've got some ready to use from my next cycle onward but fingers crossed we're lucky this month!

However my boobs have been killing this week which usually mean AF is on it's way so I may actually come on this week - who knows!?

I tried using the ic opk's last month but couldn't get on with them, they never seemed to show a positive unless I just kept missing it! I'm using the clear blue digi this month and so far I've found it easy!

This is our third cycle trying so fingers crossed. Two weeks have never felt so long!

I'm hoping Christmas will make it go quickly too, but we're in Paris right on the time I'll test so it could be an amazing holiday or a nice place to cheer myself up with wine and soft cheese!

Last month I started my period and it started with bad back pain and leg pain. Today is December 15, 2019. My partner and I DTD on Dec 1 and 2, basically 2 weeks ago. I am irregular but my period isn’t supposed to start until the following month. Today I had some light pinkish discharge mixed with clear discharge. But no cramps or back pain or anything out of the norm. I did notice an increase of discharge but thought nothing of it. I don’t want to get get my hopes up, should I test or wait to see if its aunt flow. so far it was only when i wiped earlier.

I will be! This is our 3rd cycle after coming off the pill and trying for DC2, but I've only just started to use ovulation sticks this month. No idea what I'm doing really, as my first was just conceived when I was hungover. AF due on the 31st December. My cycle seems really short, only 25 days when before it was 30 so I'm not sure what the story is there.

@bookishtartlet I'm trying to use opk sticks but not really sure what I'm doing! I've been trying to test around the same time each day but I've got a darker one, then a lighter one the day after then a darker one after that so not sure whether I'm doing it right?? 🤷‍♀️

I'm due to ovulate today. We were going to dtd last night but it took ages to get our youngest to sleep then we both ended up falling asleep and now hubby's had to go to work 🙈 I know obviously that we're still in with a chance if we dtd tonight, but have we missed the best chance by not dtd the night before ovulation is due?
