Just wondering if anyone has been successful TTC recently? If so did you have any early signs? I don't know if I'm desperately hoping for a positive and I'm imagining things or if this could be a potential sign I am actually pregnant. My period isn't due until Monday but In the last week the smell of eggs and garlic mushrooms have been making me feel nauseous. I feel as those I have a very heightened sense of smell at the moment (I could smell a caramel donut a man was eating and he was walking quite a fair distance away from me the other morning!) I'm also experiencing more discharge than usual. Ahh it's so frustrating having to wait!! I just want to know Confused

How many DPO are you?

botbird84 · 12/12/2019 21:49

I was the same last month, lots of aches and other symptoms. Turns out I was feeling poop due to a UTI 😂😭. As PP said, how many DPO are you?

I'm currently 9 DPO! If Mother Nature does not visit on Monday I will take a test on Tuesday but the wait really does feel like forever!

That's a bit early I think, but who knows! Fingers crossed they are good signs! Xx

My period eventually arrived on Thursday with extreme cramping but it only lasted two days. I've never had such a short period. I'm going to make an appointment with my GP just to make sure nothing unusual is going on. I'm wondering if I'm overly stressing about TTC and that's maybe why my period was so short!

OP did you ever do a home test? A tiny bit of blood could have been implantation bleeding but not sure about the cramping. Maybe even chemical pregnancy? You are absolutely right, periods do get affected by stress and hormonal changes, who knows, it could be something but equally could have been absolutely nothing... try not to worry too much - easier said than done, I know!

HighlandMam1 · 22/12/2019 18:05

I did on Tuesday but it was negative! I don't think it was implantation bleeding as It was very heavy (sorry tmi). We woman do not get it easy eh! I think I need to try get back into my morning routine of meditation to curb my stress levels!
