Wrong to wait?

So myself and the OH decided recently we wanted to start trying. However new career opportunities have come up and now I'm thinking that it may be better to wait until this time next year. I'm currently 30 and so will be 31 and OH 33 if we did wait till next year. We've never tried before so no idea how fertile we are be but my question is will waiting a year cause a big difference in fertility? Looking online the graphs all look terrifying as if time is running out! Having a family is more important to me than any job/career but I do want to make sure I've done all I want to do before children come along if we are lucky enough to have any Smile

The time is unlikely to ever be perfect. Go with your heart... and good luck!

I should also add I’m in a similar position. I waited as I didn’t meet my now husband until I was 28, at 32 we started trying. It took 4 months and we have unfortunately miscarried recently. However, I’m now wondering if we should start trying again or waiting until April as I’m starting a new job then and would have to wait a couple of months for full pay to kick in when a baby comes. If I get pregnant right away, it will be a case of SMP, if we wait, we will be much better off financially. My head says wait, my heart doesn’t and on this one my heart wins 🖤

You're still really young! Another year is completely fine. If you were late 30s I'd say maybe don't wait too long. We started trying at 35, and I had my first at 37 (so it took a while first time). I'm now 39 and got pregnant instantly with my 2nd.
