Anyone had really faing control lines? This is with a boots test stick.
The positive line came up within 10 seconds (first photo) Shock, the control line came up shortly after but when it got to the time limit, the control line is fainter than the positive. Anyone else had this?

How strange. Where are you in your cycle? If your quite far on then maybe the positive is stealing all the ink for the control line? Have you tested again? Xx

LosingtheTTCplot · 10/12/2019 21:20

Are you late? When was your last AF?

As previous poster said, If you are quite pregnant the dye can be pulled from the control but I’ve never seen a IC do that

CAG12 · 10/12/2019 21:43

Honestly id say this was an invalid test and id do it again. Just to be sure

Lf89 · 10/12/2019 21:53

CD 37, AF usually comes between 28-35 days so wasnt sure when I was due.

Do you have more tests? If you have any more ICs it would show up with a short hold, if it is a super strong BFP

Spacebowlisback · 10/12/2019 21:57

I thought this was normal. I know when using FRER that as the pregnancy progressed, the control line got lighter and test line darker - I assumed because the test line stole dye from the control.

lauryloo · 10/12/2019 21:58

I've had this on a frer when I was a out 6 weeks pregnant

Hopefully another test will show a bfp too

This usually happens when your HCG is high, I don't remember how it's called but it's a good sign usually.

Definitely pregnant!

Elmlee · 10/12/2019 22:43

@R2D2abc
Interesting... I've had a few like this... do you think I could be?

May test tomorrow and see just no idea what's happening with me at the moment..

This happened to you?

@Elmlee your test look normal, the control line is stronger than the test. I had a couple with stronger test and fainter control line, but at 6+ weeks( I tested until I had an early scan). I'm 20 weeks now.

I'll attach how mine looked like.

Thanks, I popped out and got a FR and it happened again. Positive line within a few seconds before control line even appeared. Think I'll believe that it is definitely positive!

Wow amazing lines. Congratulations xx

saywhatwhatnow · 11/12/2019 08:32

I had this later on in my pregnancy, could it be that you are further along than you think? It could also be a sign of twins. Congratulations!

R2D2abc · 11/12/2019 09:45

Congratulations OP.

Boo97xx · 25/01/2024 08:43
