@katie1109 I really hope it is an implantation bleed and you get a BFP tomorrow.

Our bodies troll us when TTC. Because progesterone rises either way it can cause all the same symptoms. I've read loads of women who have had AF cramping for a week and still getting a BFP and women who had no symptoms at all so none of us are really out until AF shows her face. xxx

@Sunflower2019 Yeah I have some FRER’s coming tomorrow so was going to test maybe Friday morning as that will be a week before AF would normally be due and approx 13dpo.

@Sophieb15 not sure if this helps or is relevant, but my sister in law had endometriosis. She had an op and actually fell pregnant (by accident!) about 12 months later, so it most definitely is possible xx

I've been in such an irrational angry emotional mood today. Reckon it's the stress of TTC? Quite possibly withdrawal from drinking wine (although after reading that article I'm tempted to start again).

Anyone else on 11DPO? Sorry I can't remember. How are you feeling? Until now I've had very sore boobs, lots of cm, nausea and an increasing rage/tears (poor OH). Totally not usual for my AF but could also all be in my head. Due Saturday... 😫

@Fredthespider oooh that’s interesting. I’ll defo enjoy in TWW but would probably give up if I get a bfp. That sounds awful on the bleeding. Do you know what’s causing it?

@Sophieb15 worse still, our bodies sometimes mimic periods when you are pregnant. My mum had a ‘normal’ period for 3 months with. It’s so annoying how crazy our bodies can be!

How’s everyone else getting on tonight? I managed to use my day off to wrap all my Christmas presents so feeling knackered ha. Looking forward to an evening in front the tv.

There's so many kind words and I had read @Mumofboys17 post just after seeing the BFN last night brought. It was really needed and appreciated so thank you.
I've started with some spotting today, which is weird for me because normally I'm heavy to start with straight away and I've had bloating and cramps all day so I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it develops or not.

Came off the mini pill a week before my last cycle
#1 cycle of trying, last cycle started 17th of November so on day 25 of my cycle so far hoping for a bfp this month. But I do know it is unlikely as it only the first month and I am older and gained weight since last pregnancy.

How do you ladies all know when you ovulate? I have no clue ?

Also how many days past ovulation should you really test at the earliest ?

@Quiffy soon, one app says tomorrow, another says Saturday. The past few months my cycle has been getting a bit longer so I was expecting it to be closer to Saturday.

@daisydays1 welcome! I use Ovia and femometer to track my cycles. I use opk tests from around cd8 (as I have irregular cycles) and I also measure my temp every morning. From that I can see where I ovulate.

For testing I’ve see people get bfps from as early as 7dpo but that is very early and can be upsetting to see a bfn when you could still be in with a chance. So, it’s best to test as close to af as you can hold off. I love to poas so I don’t last long hehe.

My FRER’s arrived a day early... very tempted to use them tomorrow morning instead now.. 😬 not sure. May flip a coin when I wake up and see if fate is on my side 😂😂 I think I’ve steeled myself in prep for a BFN this month anyway but can’t shake that glimmer of hope til it happens!! 😩

Well ladies my bleeding seems to have stopped, lasted 48 hours and wouldn’t definitely call it more than spotting 🤔 still dull ache in my back and right side pelvic area. Boobs only sore on the sides and really tired today, had an afternoon nap after work today, that doesn’t even happen. I’ve got an IC and FRER...might use IC tomorrow morning and see what happens x

@Mumofboys17 well you know what I'd do 😂🙈. I also find that doing it in the morning stops me (well, sort of stops me) thinking about it all day because I've got it out the way and then I think 'ok tomorrow might be different'. Whatever helps us!

Well I needn’t have bothered with my FRER’s, AF came this morning A WEEK EARLY 😩 I’m not joking when I say this NEVER happens to me. I haven’t had a 28 day cycle since I was in my teens! It’s 100% AF and not IB as it’s far too red and heavy 🙁
I did do the FRER (as they’re short expiration date) anyway and no surprise it’s BFN.
I’m gutted, but I’ll live.. I’m more shocked than anything... 😕

Funny though, I now have no tampons in the house as I protested to buy any in the pursuit of being positive towards TTC 😂😂 fml hahahaha, I don’t help myself do I!!

@Mumofboys17 sorry to hear that! I think I’ll be soon behind you, mines due any day now, approx 2 days but I think it will come early as been feeling a bit blah 😕

Ashame we didn’t get the bfps this month but on the bright side if we don’t fall quite yet means we won’t have kids missing first year of school.. gotta think of these things 😂 if they’re born late aug they miss a whole year of school!

I'm out now. Spotting has turned heavy so it's full on AF now. So disappointed.
Does anyone else feel cheated that growing up you were always told about being so careful to not get pregnant, but actually the reality of it is that it's not that easy for everyone?
At least we can have all the wine and cheese at Christmas now...

Hey ladies been MIA as had my works do yesterday.

I managed to limit myself to only 2 drinks and that was a beer and a mulled wine as opposed to the cocktails I really wanted!

I had to get a really early train back home as we have a big and special occasion today. I swear I just nearly threw up twice before I could get to the bathroom when I woke up. I didn't end up throwing up thankfully last thing I need this morning haha! Could just be me being nervous about today I've got a million things to get done and still two trains and a car drive away from home to it all before 12!! I didn't drink enough for it to be that!

@Daisy8008 I’m at work all day 😩 but DS1 is still quite poorly so tbh it’s a bit of a break for me either way lol as awful as that sounds 😬

@Sunflower2019 Ahhh it’s ok! I did really want to surprise DH on Xmas eve but besides that I know it’s not the end of the world. Plus, means we can start TTC again a week earlier than I would have originally planned 😂😂 just hope these 28 day cycles stick now haha that’ll be a dream!!

@BntTowers oh honestly we all had a moan about that in the previous thread!! All my young life I avoided getting pregnant like the plague! Took over a year for DS1, really hope it doesn’t take that long again 😩 don’t think I have it in me!!

Bfn for me this morning :( not even sure why I tested tbh. Feel a bit stupid now.

Not sure on DPO, I'm cd 25 and AF is due between 16th-18th (first cycle off the pill so can't be sure but my last two periods whilst on the pill were 30 days so I think I am due 18th).

It's probably just nerves and anxiety to be honest but one can't help thinking it could be related!

@Mumofboys17 @BntTowers sorry AF has reared her ugly head for you. Some months I just wait & don't test but when AF arrives it just as crushing as a bfn (cheaper though lol)
What does everyone else "prefer" the disapointment of a bfn or AF?
